Blockchain could be very much so. But I believe it will usher in a new type of economic philosophy, one we can't fully conceptualize yet. The WEF is introducing the idea of Stakeholder Capitalism. Look into it if you want.

Probably not, crypto is basically capitalism distilled down to its purest form. A mutually agreed upon value that can be exchanged for goods and services.

no communism is such a shitty dysfunctional trainwreck it requires inflationary central banking to fund its stupidity. There's a reason libertarians got in early on bitcoin while statist commies were seething in /r/buttcoin

plank #5 in communist manifesto: Centralization of credit in the hands of the state, by means of a national bank with state capital and an exclusive monopoly

>> No.28154386

>>28152669
As per communist manifesto, there is no need for any currency. Goods and services are exchanged for other goods and services. Communist = Community based economy, there is no need for any capital in it.

Cool idea, but redistribution isn't inherently communist. Social ownership is.
During the early modern era common land was forcibly redistributed from european commoners to aristocrats under enclosure. The same happened to many collectively held lands under colonialism, although some was sold.
Subsidies are more or less distribution of taxpayer money towards private firms, same with subcontracting.

>>28153136
Trade predates capitalism and exists under any economic system.

>>28152752
It would make more sense for that type of digital currency to be distributed based on labour. I mean, that's partially how money already functions. TLV isn't valid how Marx conceptualized it, though he got the idea from earlier capitalists.

In the USSR, despite mustering the collective labor of hundreds of millions of people by force in a natural resource-rich empire 9 million square miles in size and a dozen countries in scope:

>Only 2% owned a color tv
>Only 4% owned a car
>The average household in the USSR was 25% the size of that of Seattle Washington (the city with the smallest average apartment size in the US-themselves roughly 2/3rds the size of the largest found in Tallahassee, Florida)
>The Soviet diet was 44% carbohydrates and starch, and had 1/3rd of the protein of the US diet
>More doctors than the UK but somehow had healthcare so poor the life expectancy trended downwards from the mid 60s to the mid 80s
>You could not be "unemployed"
>You could not easily choose your occupation or leave your occupation for another
>Being over 20 minutes late to work was a criminal offense resulting in a 25% pay cut for up to six months

Other notable facts
>41% of Germany's industrial production capacity was dismantled and reassembled in Russia after the war
>26,000 engineers, scientists, aviation experts and their dependents were similarly transplanted to Russia
>Stalin admitted to Eric Johnston of the US Chamber of Commerce that two-thirds of Russia's industrial capability both during and prior to the war was due to the assistance of the United States (the remaining third being largely a Western European import)
>Fred Koch built or designed the majority of the Soviet oil refineries; oil and related products account for something like 60% of Russia's current day exports and 20-30% of their entire current day economy
>Without the NEP and extralegal economic activity the USSR would have likely continued down the pattern of repeated self-induced starvation; Stalin formally abolishing the NEP in 1928 precipitated the Soviet Famine of 1932
>An informal economy, the "Second Economy" existed throughout the USSR's existence and is estimated to represent between 15-30% of the USSR's economic activity

This is the life of the scumbag who dreamed up communism:

>had no friends throughout primary school because he was such a pushy faggot.
>went to study law at University of Bonn
>joined a "tavern club" and ran up a huge debt
>was kicked out of UoB for doing poorly and being drunk all the time.
>he threatened that he would become a poet.
>when he wasn't writing overly sentimental letters to his parents, he was fighting with them while at the same time begging for more money.
>continued his half-assed study of law at University of Berlin, then switched to Philosophy the moment his father died.
>started sucking Hegelian cock with other left-wingers
>consumed with erasing Christianity. Probably wore a fedora at some point.
>Pussed out of presenting his Doctoral Thesis at Berlin, and instead transferred to a lesser university to get his Doctorate.
>married Jenny von Westphalan, and promptly failed at all his duties as a husband.
>never held an office or any sort of regular occupation.
>they were constantly living in filth and hunger.
>at least 3 of his children died from malnutrition, and 2 others committed suicide.
>subsisted by begging Engles for money. Engles got his money through his rich father, a capitalist factory owner.
>when a relative gave Marx enough money to clear his debts and start life fresh, he took the money an went touring Germany and squandered all of the money.
>always an asshole, constantly being kicked out of organizations he was trying to game.
>wrote Das Kapital while laid up in bed covered in boils and other health problems.
>died alone like the wretched, worthless pile of shit he was
