who is getting this tether? if I set a buy order in btc-usdt someone else has usdt but most of those people already sold their btc to get usdt, who the fuck is getting fresh usdt to put into the order books? if it's an exchange how are they able to do this when they don't even own the usdt? don't say it's an institution because they can just use usd and I've never heard of someone trading usd for usdt directly from tether and it's unclear if that's even possible.
