Pic related is what I've got presently. I've also got $500/month to invest and I plan on spreading it between XLM, NU, ZRX, and ALGO. I'm in this for the long game, not seeking immediate gains. In the long run I think these projects will turn out nicely. I've got about $5,000 in a savings account but my wife won't let me touch that (yet). Please do this. Evaluate your strategy: hold or swing, high or medium risk. Coinbase doesn’t have too many options that will get you into trouble. Today was a down day for most, great time to consolidate into 1 w/ only $400. Rarely sell for a loss.
For Coinbase, I like BNT for its relatively low market cap. A lot of good options there, but your grt and link have seen big gains, don’t want you discouraged after a 10-20% correction if it happens

Thanks for the suggestion. Since I was new to the market, and knew I was buying into a bull run, I figured I wanted to start collecting. With all the initial purchases my risk assess was long hold.
I figured the market may correct 50-66% and I would just hodl through till next time. I'll even stack more if it bottoms out and cost average. That would give me time to learn more about swinging. Once I get a better sense I may start swinging with 10% or so.
A few of the coins I got were rewards too, and they offer apy if I held at least one, so I paid the 5 or 10 $ for the difference. So i'm not concerned with the 1 atom and 1 Tezos, they are just there trickling out 5%. Getting 6% on the Algo.
I'm still having trouble finding a good portfolio manager yet, and I'm torn between doing everything manually versus importing data.

You only need a different "app" for each chain, not necessarily each shitcoin. So if most of your shitcoins are some erc-something you just keep them all in your eth address and therefore you only need the eth "app". The apps themselves do not store your addresses contents, only the credentials.
So unless you're on 50 differents chains its not a problem, and if you are, then only keep those that you are actively using for transferring stuff or trading.

As for exchanges I use uniswap for anything eth related and binance otherwhise.
