How can people bear living paycheck to paycheck?
If you get fired you become homeless.
Illness = homeless.
Car accident = homeless.

That feels like too much pressure man.

78% now. Probably not accounting for people that lost their job and have no paycheck.

According to CNBC it's 63% now, so you're right but it's still very high.

No idea, but most people I know live like this. They are glad if they can save $100 once a year when they get their christmas bonus.

you stop noticing after a while. For many they have never known any different.

really the source of despair is not your absolute condition, but rather your relative condition. Both to others and your past self. The derivative slope of prosperity over time is, I think, the most accurate indicator of a person's outlook.

I lived like this and it fucking sucks.
>Jobs worth anything are either rare or require a skill
>Skill requires time and money
>No time since you have to work and no money since you have to live
>Don't want to take out a student loan because it'll land me in the same position
>Oopsie the condom broke, your time accounts for a child now too
>Can't live in the ghetto, would rather be poor in a decent area than have surplus in a nigger zone
>Behind on the car payment, get paranoid whenever a truck is close to the apartment complex
What do you do?
>Work smarter, get a shit job tier job and do it well for a while
>Find a company hiring for the same job but more money, most people don't have the years of experience in the field that you have now
>Went from 11/h to 15/h in a call center
>Cook all your meals
>Buy chicken breast in bulk and make soups with cheap veges
>Tuna sandwiches = easy and quick protein
>Hourly workers get 2 months a year where they get an extra paycheck. Save these for yearly costs like car registration and one time big savers like a weight set
>Finally paid off car last year, get to save an extra 308+ a month
>Still live and eat like I'm poor because wife and I know how to cook
>FAT child tax credit
Now that I have money I can invest, I just need to stop killing every stock and crypto I put money into. We can all make it that far, it just requires some discipline, patience, and learning how to fucking cook. A large pizza literally costs about $3 when you make it yourself. But I wanna make it make it.
