The DEX will be hosted by masternodes, these nodes will act as service providers. So while the Lightning Network is practically feeless, the small fees do add up.
As this is an instant tradeable DEX, you can run arbitrage bots on it, which makes it VERY lucrative.
You can't use bots on Uniswap, because exchanging your assets there isn't instant, and the fees crazy high

Uniswap will be surpassed by better solutions like Stakenet running solely on L2 for both BTC (Lightning) and ETH (Connext) and can swap instantly between the two with REAL assets (Not fake wrapped defi solutions) - Ofc UNI and Sushi will have there place for all the ETH weed that needs a place to hang out. But the big trading volume will IMO shift because its simply MUCH more profitable for liquidity providers to arbitrage and have instant settlements and no network fees. Its night and day between L1 and L2.

Can't wait to see what kind of volume this Dex will bring in early next year.

Currently orderbook is hosted on a website, but the DEX is planned to be hosted on thousands of Masternodes for maximum redundancy and limit of downtime
