>holds token X

>"should I sell X for Y?"
>now holding Y
>"anon, how can you be this stupid not having Y"
>X goes up
>"WHY IS THIS SHITCOIN NEVER MOVING"
>continues in an endless cycle with some abnormalities
You see? /biz/ is all about buying high and selling low.

>3 days ago it was GRT
>2 days ago it was ALGO
>yesterday and today is BNB
The amount of FOMO is insane.
I went up 15x in 4 weeks by standing by a project and not chasing pumps, consider doing the same.

>> No.29030247

Chasing pumps is fun though, and gives neets something to do. I have 90% of my holdings in good long term projects and the other 10% I toss around for the fuck of it. But yes there are a lot of brainlets who fomo into every coin of the week and then onto the next one when it crabs for 5 whole days

I got an office and everything in the house. my wife thinks im a genius all time broker who works hard for our money but really I play games all day and alt tab when she comes in my office. Sometimes she sees charts opened on screen and shes like omg anon youre so smart to understand all these numbers

People really need to learn how to look at a longer timeframe. The vast majority of these people would have been better off DCAing and hodling bitcoin. I spent some time a few years ago chasing moonshots and was miserable and lost money, nowadays i simply have my money in assets that i believe will succeed on their own merit rather than artificial pumps that are coordinated on discord lol. What else is investing for?

If you want to turn $1 into $1000000 overnight, buy a lotto ticket.

This. Also chase dumps but instead of sell, buy.

Literally every time I sell, a 20% gain happens and my new positing drops. It's been an endless loop and if I would have held everything from a month ago I'd be up $20k. I went and looked. Big regrets. And I just did it again this morning.

At some point there will be a large correction before the bull run continues. The board will be pink for a couple days, then the reddit tourists will "never again!!!!" and leave us the fuck alone until btc reaches ~$70k, then they'll all trickle back to buy the top and the cycle will repeat.

People on /biz/ aren't interested in chasing mid/long term profits, they want pump n dumps where their only options are 100x in a week or they perish like the dogs they are.

>> No.29032533

>>29030074
Pretty much.

Step 1: coordinate pumps in secret discords
Step 2: come to /biz/ where everyone can see the coin you're shilling
Step 3 profit from FOMOing retards throwing all they have

Seems to be easy money, I wish I could code shit and had friends to create my own coins. This is why I'm never going to leave the bottom, too dumb to actually make money

Yes, I have to admit that this triggers me a lot.

ETH went from 730 to 1800 in 4 weeks, then hovered around 1800 for 10 days.
And people complain why "ETH is a stablecoin and a bad investment."

Reading /biz/ is such a timewaste, I wish there was a way to filter ip's to just be left with the fun stuff - assuming fun and retarded stuff isn't strongly linked

It really takes a certain amount of self-control. Holding a coin that goes sideways seemingly like forever, only to occassionally jump up a measly 5%, while most of the other coins moon like mad and you watch them pumping higher and higher every day. Dunno, mate. It hurts.

I'm just going to leave a small amount in the exchange and see if I can double it by only doing one position at a time and studying one cyrpto, then send proceeds to wallet and repeat.
