A carbon tax certainly wouldn't help, there's really no evidence that carbon dioxide in higher concentrations in the atmosphere is bad for the environment since the evidence shows that carbon dioxide is a result of higher temperatures, not the other way around.

Also we have machines that can precipitate carbon dioxide out of the atmosphere if we want anyway, if it was that big of a problem we'd just be running those machines on barges just outside of chinese and indian territorial waters.

Where did my post imply that I disagree with any of that? Of course it's bullshit. We're carbon based life forms living on a planet still in an ice age and atmospheric concentrations have been hundreds of times higher in history with no cataclysms.
But if you're shilling lithium batteries and also Machiavellian, then a carbon tax makes perfect sense.
