Fasting is generally great to reduce inflammation, and some forms of cancer do get their fuel from inflammation, as it allows the cancer cells to reshape the environment into a pro carcinogenic one
But it's not going to get you rid of it, and it certainly won't help with ALS as apparently autophagy does tend to have a negative effect on the development, and autophagy kicks in about two to three days into a fast
Keto diet, which still works by reducing inflammation but does not trigger autophagy has reported a bit of success in attenuating symptoms in mice, though i don't know if studies have ever been conducted on man
But yeah, don't fast unless your doctor is on board with it and is monitoring every step

It's really okay, most of that would be good information but the problem is I've been going through this for the better part of a decade only recently finding out, and the "ALS" is still being diagnosed but it's evident to me with the slurring of speech eyes losing control and other issues.

I honestly thought a lot of just "getting older" till I kept bouncing things off people like "Hey is this normal" and gauging people's reactions like what the fuck are you talking about.
