Can I ask a noob question about options? If I'm 99% certain a stock's price will significantly increase within a month. Is it better to do call options closer to the price I think it will reach when I want to sell or closer to where it is now?

So house is worth 210,000-220,000 and I actually heard some bullish news that Amazon is moving in with a warehouse dowm the street at a major intersection and its by a new interstate addition.
If I sell the home I take 20,000 which have to pay taxes on so really I only get 16k of to go into market. If I buy the home, I would get a pretty awesome discount of 25k-35k. I would have to take a mortage for 165k though and that includes closing costs for the refinance (apparently since I own a portion of home no first time home buyer credit potentials). Mortage would be with 912, 500-600 being the principal taxes are 190. So I would be paying a fee of $500 of money lost each month.. But with renting I am currently burning $800 a month for an apartmemt. Home would be more expensive with maintenance but also way higher standard of living.
