Yes. Link and arbitrum have already solved the gas problem but they are waiting until the gas causes maximum despair before offering the solution, which will force EVERYONE to adopt arbitrum + link at the same time or be left behind. Kind of like if everyone is trapped in a housefire, and you don't intervene until the second everyone is about to start dying. Then they have no choice but to accept your offer or die
