Depends on what you think is coming. You likely won't time it right. Hedges like puts buy you time to exit other positions so you don't get shaken out from false dips.
Also crypto is 100% tracking the markets and I doubt any of them will be useful as hedge. Generally the rotation would be into income generating assets. Dividend stocks of companies that have captive consumer bases (energy and utility companies) and can adjust the price as need be. Then other bluechips with diamond plated financials. Money market funds (not bonds, but shorter notes as a step up from cash). Etc. Basically anything that has been hated since July of last year.

Theres literally no reason to not just buy miner stock.

The profits from miners are easily x20-x50, which means you can use all your profits to buy WAY more silver, gold and memecoins than just straight up buying physical. Daily Reminder that there are more than 2 metals
Inb4 COMEX shill. You can buy as much silver as you want

Chart depicts crustal abundance on LOGARITHMIC scale
Rarity + a decent number of applications = GUARANTEED GAINS no matter current price

>Yellow/PGEs are top-tier
>Blue/REMs are expensive because of low recyclability. However, new tech could ameliorate this like how Aluminum became dirt cheap to extract
>Red industrial metals are okay for owning stonks

PHYSICAL TIER LIST V4
>S
- Iridium - 2nd rarest, relatively low price, 2x last 2 years, still discovering uses
- Rhodium - automobiles, 10x last 2 years; however may be lower in future as cars become electric
>A
- Osmium - rarest, 1/3 the cost of Iridium, still discovering uses
- Rhenium - automobiles, aerospace, reasonably low price
- Ruthenium - electronics, aerospace, & medicine
- Silver - low cost, incoming COMEX default pump, many applications, widespread use
>B
- Gold - ultimate store of wealth, eternal, stable value
- REMs - rare because of low recyclability, good but few applications
>C
- Platinum - GOING UP!
- Palladium - volatile price yet minimal gains
- Indium - equal rarity to silver, electronics
>D
- Mercury - hard to get acquire/hold, fewer applications due to toxicity
- Bismuth - various applications, pretty

>1-3 months of off the grid supplies and food, including warmth if applicable.
>basic tools to aid in long term survival and self defense (fire starter(s), water purification, common yard/basic tools, and 1-2 weapons if able).
>atleast a couple thousand in cash savings for more mundane emergencies
>aim for about 100-500oz of silver or other equivalent PM as last resort inflation proof savings, or to ensure you can atleast eat until the dust settles from a cash collapse
>invest in more advanced tools and property that make sense for you and your situation (alternate vehicles, generators, animals, books, land, more food, food processing equipment, a well, ample firearms/ammo, even a good computer if you can create value with one)
only if you have these, or atleast the ones that you could reasonably attain and benefit from, would i start to look into hoarding larger amounts of PM.

Don't try to find coins that compete with PMs. Find something that complements it.

For home panning I plug the sink and pan under the faucet. Don't run the muck down the drain, it'll clog your pipes. But a running faucet gives enough water to pan with. Or a full sink if that's all you got. Make sure you break up the soil and clay really well by hand while shaking the pan in the water. You can wind up with mica in the cons if you have clay stuck to the bottom of the pan. That can also float gold out of the pan if it's stuck in the mud.

regarding the waterfall I would pan downstream of it but that's just me and it depends what the creek flow and high water signs look like. Also what I'm going after. If flood gold I'm panning the banks anyways. Gold from the stream bottom should be present above and below the waterfall wherever the flow slows. But larger gold can be in the faster moving areas so I tend to sample all over the place.

>first, don’t be greedy. Don’t acquire a gigantic country estate unless you’re prepared to employ a whole village to maintain/defend it
>instead buy something modest with some land, like a small holding with a nice but modest 3 bed house, that even any invading army would look at and say ‘ok that farmer lives there, we can ignore him though it’s not important to us’
>be noble; live like someone who should live there. Ie don’t look like a squatter or degenerate

It is possible to test yourself quick and accurate for silver content. Any dealership does it when you try to sell them your pots and cutlery, it involves scratching the item and testing the filing with acids on a stone plate. The colour will give you an idea if you have copper with electoplated silver infront of you or any kind of silver alloy.
If the latter, there are special acid solutions to test for the most common alloys like 625 and 925 silver (sterling).
Once you are in the business of buying silver products you will develope an eye for the most obvious scams anyways, personally I can smell a cheap copper plate a mile away.
Also I think there should be french silver coins available locally, unless the commies took them all. That would be the easiest solution to stack silver if possible.

What many people do not realize is that even if they are making alot of USD in the stock market. the Actually economy has suffered so greatly that if these dumb money speculators actually cashed some profits out and tried to spend money on real physical goods they will soon find that the price gain would either eat into a portion of their profits or would have completely wiped them out. In America so many businesses are closed, if you make alot of money what good is it if most businesses are closed? All USD is good for now is to move overseas to a juristriction that isn't going to hell and for buying gold and silver while it is still cheap.

What is the good of having a 'gold standard' if the people controling your monetary system are jews who want to steal your wealth.

Gold isn't the solution to the problems we are facing, of course stacking gold and silver will help individuals retain wealth in the currency crisis. But the real solution needed in a hurry is a gullitine or some well placed bullets with central bankers and high level bureaucrats put to the sword.

>in a shitty world without internet and lots of violence around and mass starvation, wow... all worth it, totally.

I mean most people that advocate for precious metal ownership only say you should have 10% allocation so you can still participate in real estate, stonks and crypto. Because in a genuine currency crisis that small allocation to metal will save your bacon.

Bros, retard here, I have question about this. I didn't buy PSLV, but I have miners out the ass and a lot like AG are getting heavily shorted. If we put our shares of miners up for sale at a ridiculously high price so they don't really sell will it hurt the banksters if enough people do it?

They can't publicly announce that they started mass accumulation.
This would created panic and reduced their ability to accumulate.
Price isn't dictated by real market of physical only paper derivatives.
Bullion banks control spot price.
They want to lure people into Bitcoin that won't have any utility in next couple years.

I would love to answer your question, however since you did not define what "a severe reduction of people" means you have, you could say, based your "estimation on absolutely nothing" and by your own logic (you) are then "an absolute fucking retard".

I have to decline to answer, because it is my policy to not talk with retards any more than is necessary.

They've been a solid name until recently, as with many makes. They're still good in large part, but their 10/22s are garbage compared to older models. Some of the cheapies like LC9s aren't that great, yet kinda are for the cheap price. Just read reviews on gun forums before buying, as with anything. The gunrag reviews are always glowing, so look for individual reviews and read lots of them, couple hours reading those will reveal what's what.
