you need to get the FTM wallet, transfer to it, and then you can do staking directly in the wallet.

Minimum was very low, like 1FTM? but then you get only 4% APY
if you stake more, and choose to stake for longer period (locked out from using funds for long time), then you can get a lot higher APY, 50% even
you pay the validator node like 15 fucking percent of your profits though...
to become a validator node yourself, you need to stake 3million something FTM, haha... and figure out how to set it all up and run it up time 99.99% of the time, and no fuck ups, or naughties, or else you get penalized in your returns
but then!! you don't pay 15%, but instead take 15% from every person that uses you as validator
