>i-it's digital gold bro, it totally didn't fail despite all of the previously stated objectives collapsing, smart-contracts and DeFi are just a fad
How long do maxis expect to keep up the facade? Even normies have begun to realize it's an outdated shitcoin.

True but Nintendo didn’t come to market for about 10 years after Atari’s inception. There’s plenty of Coleco and sega coins to make money with in the meantime. Nintendo hasn’t even been created yet.

What a surprise, threatened maxis resort to shit-flinging with absolutely 0 rebuttal. I've been all-in on alts for years now- you know, those projects that do what bitcoin originally claimed to do but was too shitty and outdated to achieve with scale? But don't worry, I'm sure this will be that one time in human history the first iteration of new tech remained the best.

People have been saying this same shit since 2017. Back then it was hilarious to watch all the zoomers declare ETH flipping BTC as immenient. I tried to tell the zoom zooms that legacy and trust are more important to determine whether a currency will make it or not than fundamentals. Why do you think Gold is still the standard hedge against inflation and has been valuable since the dawn of time? Because people know and trust it as hedge against inflation.

90% of people have no idea about the existence of any shitcoin. They don't even refer to crypto, they talk about BTC.
BTC has also shown consistent growth and no reason to doubt the project for 10 years now. Do you really think people will trade that for some shitcoin a pajeet coded in his basement last week?

this is why i bought litecoin. it has the trust of bitcoin, but quicker and faster transactions make it more viable for use as a currency

I'm 150 IQ so I'll do my best to dumb this down for you 100 IQers
OP needs to learn what the fuck money is. Jesus, even for a no-coiner, that's just pathetic. And re: gold -- Gold isn't a fucking currency, it's hard money. Not because it's pretty and shiny, because it's easily tested for purity (verifiable), never corrodes or tarnishes (immutable), it gets harder and harder to find all the time (scarce), and it has intrinsic value, both in ancient times when it was used to make pottery and cutlary, because it doesn't tarnish and if you don't get sick from putting it in your mouth because it's chemically inert. And also in modern times, because it is the best conductor money can buy, it's used in high end electronics that require high throughput. (useful)

Bitcoin is verifiable, immutable, scarce, and it has the largest supercomputer cluster ever created securing its ledger. It's impossible to hack, and if it weren't, it would be cost more than you'd be able to steal, and you'd make more money mining it honestly if you had that kind of hardware. It's impossible to censor or change, and impossible to hyperinflate or manipulate on a macro scale.

Gold and Bitcoin are both hard money, not currencies. Learn the difference or die poor.
