I don't know what that means. You faggots said I would be making way better money than with stocks, but I have never seen my portfolio go down by so much so fast except with this funny internet money.

Mate. During any stock market crash if you had bought at the peak, you would still on average be up again ten years later. Why lock in a loss if you don't have to.

mostly a couple weeks ago. i could have sold a lot of it for 30%+ profits, but it's ridiculous how everything can shit the bed simultaneously in a matter of minutes minutes.

Crypto as an asset class is more volatile. Meaning it goes up faster and harder. It also goes down faster and harder.

So you dumped half your life savings into crypto? Yeah you're not gonna make it. Markets are too volatile for lump sums to be a valid strategy. If you're not buying dips and DCAing into your crypto stacks you will see HUGE downswings and boomers like you are paperhanded faggots and sell at the first sign of red.
I've been DCAing since august and I'm up 10% for the week.

BTC was under $20K what seems like was a few weeks ago. How desu fampai. There's always an ATH around the corner and waiting for it has never failed as a strategy. As bad as you feel now, it'll be a whole lot worse when $65K is breached in 2 weeks.

And if you had done it, you'd be feeling slightly better now, but you would still be regretting it in the near future. I don't expect you to believe me and I probably sound like a delusional bull to you, but you will see. With crypto you need to stay emotionally detached and just hold, while taking some profits here and there, until it gets to the point of complete mania, something we have yet to see this run.

In any case, I wish you the best. Good night.

Certain moments definitely calls for certain moves that will make the most sense. Almost a year ago when everything went to total shit and ended up where it is/was a few weeks ago is what finally showed me that at the end of the day, the central banks will pump cash into everything even remotely close to being considered a security. Anything can happen and obviously cash on hand is important for urgent needs, but if sovereign notes can be put into something else it's probably not a bad time to do it.

There is no mania because crypto is kinda just stupid and most normal people already know what it is and won't touch it.

It was headed to the grave until COVID where it was bought as a doomer hedge.

get ur head outta your butt. Wall Street already wrote crypto off and so did most of the normies. Only reason it bounced from the first crash was unlimited QE inflationary fears. That's why gold broke out too.
