Wagies wanting to escape cagies.

What are some alternate income streams have you got set up to help you stack Sats and buy make it bags?

>Flipping camera gear
I lurk /p/ and photog fb groups and always find gearfags willing to part with their money.

>DiveMastering
I love diving, so I show tourists around local spots, doesnt feel like a job since Im passionate about it, so the income feels easy. Will probably be my “occupation" once I make it.

>Running videography courses.
Same as above, teach people how to use a go pro for nice underwater videos for $250 per person. Have a strong upsell of strong underwater light set ups for $400 that I get from aliexpress.

Most of these I can shoehorn into a weekend. But Im constantly looking for more time efficient alternatives.

What are your side hustles? /biz/?

Actually this was the redpill I took that started my enlightened /biz/ path.

>got laid off by covid
>get $1500 per week with job keeper and job seeker from govt gibs.
> for 3 months I earned more doing nothing than waging 38 hours a week + transport. Earning $900p/w
>no one at work wanted to return because they got paid more to do nothing.

Now obsessed with setting up an infrastructure that pays as much as the wage cage so I can go do /out/ shit.

Not gonna lie, I am a bit demoralised my thread isnt getting traction, while I confess it might be a shit thread.
There are literally scamcoins, bait, and schizo threads on the catalog that reliably get replies.

Start with what youre passionate about and see if you can monetise it somehow.

Im looking into ecommerce or dropshipping since normies seem really profitable. Sure its some effort but you only need to get it right once.

I'm big on trying to monatize your hobbies but you have to set small reasonable goals. My goal is to make at least 300$ off of my fishing youtube videos.

I'm thinking about selling drugs, magic mushrooms don't require energy or heat like weed does and it doesn't require a chemistry set like lsd or meth do.
I've been checking out Nick Rochefort, the mde guy if you know him, he's hawking antique rugs and vintage posters, that seems like a decent hobby to make money on.

Nah, this is a good thread OP, biz has gone to shit with crypto scams. Threads like this are why I come here.

I sharpen knives as a side income. Currently very small time, knife here knife there type of thing. I want to expand it into a full time business though, and am slowly working through the logistics of it.

I think now is the time to start a b&m service business. Commercial real estate rents have been dropping due to covid, and having an irl store gives customers confidence in your abilities. Would you rather get a hair cut from a barber in a store or one of craigslist? That's kinda my main thesis here.

How did you monetize knife sharpening?
I work in kitchens, in small kitches there is usually one cook that's good at it and he'll sharped your knife for someone if they ask, in larger kitchens a guy with a van full of knives (aka a british nuclear bomb) comes and replaces em and takes them away to be sharpened.

Nah that must have been another Anon, I rarely post, but if you can find the thread I'd like to give it a read.

Divemastering is fun but its got a lot of issues. I love diving too but when you dive for a job its definitely a little less fun. Its more of a babysitting gig than a scuba explorer gig. Also you gotta deal with insurance and those dive companies like PADI if your working solo

Well I'm still working on it. Currently I just do residential sharpening in my neighbourhood, strictly word of mouth. I do plan to branch into commercial once I get a storefront though. Expecting around a 50/50 mix revenue weighted. For now, I'm hoping to grow a small network and then get a storefront, at which point my base should grow exponentially. The store front sign and an accompyning webpage should hopefully be enough to pull that off. Keyword is should.

That said though, I find people are more than willing to pay for a quality sharpen. It's amazing how many people I see using just trashed knives day in day out for home cooking. There's a real market out there, the only barrier to entry is that it does have a learning curve and isnt the most glamourous job

Whenever crypto crashes I get these urges to make side fiat money. I used to bartend/serve as a side gig but this season im going to get into the following

>postmates-if you can do with a partner its worth it, dont have to interact with people anymore and you can smoke weed/browse biz while you drive around. I might use my bike as well when the weather gets nice.
>ebay/fb market place. ive never done it before but the goodwill around me is good and I know where i can hit some estate sales. Ive sold a lot of shit on offerup before so I know its easy af but running an actual store can be some work. I got some real niche things i can get into as well
>lapel pins-i fucking love them, its a niche thing and it gets even more niche when you get into those circles but it can be good/decent money if you know what you're doing. You have to deal with Chinese to get them done and then you have to be social and shit online to get into groups and get a following but worth it. I have some designs set up and was thinking about hiring an artist to help out. Passion project for sure but it can be relatively profitable as well.
>Keycaps. Ive wanted a hobby for al ong time and I think im gona make and sell keycaps. if it fails it fails but I just want to have fun with it
>i would do an onlyfans or something but my gf hasnt been down for it. Shes trying to sell feet pics but doesnt know how...anyone have experience with this?
>ive tried writing/blogging stuff before and it is not worth it in my opinion. However, if I see the right set up I might get back into it.
>streaming- again can be profitable if you get into the right niche. I think i can run a good crypto channel but youtube is oversaturated right now.
>cbd-im looking up laws in my area. its basically printing money if you have a lot base material and you know how to infuse
