This whole idea will only work if they have a massive amount of liquidity, which I doubt is going to happen anytime soon. Here's how it looks to me.

Currently there's 1.5 million LINK on Uniswap. They are going for about $30. Let's say DEXG exchange has liquidity of 10,000 LINK (generous). The unique DEXG AMM says the price of LINK is actually $25, not $30. This "attracts arbitrage bots." Except what do the bots do? They just buy all 10,000 of those LINK so they can resell them on Uniswap, thus depleting the pool of LINK.

So what about the liquidity providers? They come to withdraw their liquidity and there's no more LINK in the pool. DEXG says "not to worry, instead of giving you back your LINK, we will give you their equivalent value, which we estimate is $25 per LINK. No impermanent loss, see?" But clearly there was a huge loss here on the part of the LPs, even though DEXG claims it's not "impermanent loss" according to their unique price algorithm.

That's why this whole thing isn't going to work, in my opinion. They would need to attract way too many LPs on this "promise of no impermanent loss" when there's actually a huge risk of actually losing the value of your tokens because of the DEXG exchange setting the "value" themselves.
