Only morons think that geographically separate companies from around the world running their own nodes means centralization. Compared to the centralized mining pools for Bitcoin and Ethereum all in China.

Current network is throttled at 10k TPS, but is capable of 250k TPS - sharding is coming later this year which will allow hundreds of millions of TPS at a minimum.
