Would like to hear some anons experiences of crypto.com, particularly the visa cards, staking CRO, etc.
Looks quite interesting and they appear to be in high demand, wondering if it's worth getting on board?
I'm a poorfag so could only afford the ruby card but still gets me some benefits it seems.

Card is nice, peoples reactions when you whip out a futuristic metal card makes it worth it. CRO as cashback on all purchases is pretty neat too. CRO is still cheap as an exchange coin, its very normie accessible so does have potential to go far. It works like a prepaid credit card where you move funds from FIAT/CRYPTO wallet into a separate spending pool.

Bought into this 3 years ago. Lord I'm getting old. Anyway, just got the ruby card because I didn't want to stake a shitton of money on a gamble at that time. The platform isn't as intuitive as some others, but it's not as chunky as say Kucoin. Basic investing is easy. Word of advice, if you put money on your card (I.e. Selling btc to "top up"), you can't put that money back into the market. You would have to use the card to run a transaction like anything else.

I love the weight tho. Aesthetic as fuck

Is there any way to get a prepaid crypto-fiat card you can use anonymously?

Yeah, I tend to just move the exact amount every time I want to buy something. Its a little extra step but it means I only take out what I need.

Been a user (jade green) for 2 years now.

>particularly the visa cards
Nice look, works nearly everywhere, can be locked in the app, instant notification via push and mail about every purchase, 3% cashback on every purchase with exception of financial services, during Covid I got 10% on groceries and mcdonalds, I like this card and use it exclusively, convert cashback CRO every month into coins of my choice

>staking CRO
staking 10k CRO for my jade card (grandfathered in, now it is 50k CRO), get 10% APY on it paid weekly, feels good. also staked 10k CRO on the exchange in the past for 20% APY in order to participate in the syndicate events, got a lot of money out of it, now the APY to stake on the exchange is 10%

>wondering if it's worth getting on board?
for me, yes, I am using the credit card and the Earn feature to get interest on BTC

>I'm a poorfag so could only afford the ruby card but still gets me some benefits it seems.
absolutely, ruby gets you free spotify and 2% on every purchase; you should wait 2 weeks to get the card, however, because at the moment Ruby would cost you 5,000 CRO or $767; they will peg the price to USD in 2 weeks, so a Ruby card will only run you $250 then, Jade $2500

I kinda wanted one but the amount of viral marketing shills in this thread is kinda a turn-off.

Same. I usually keep $100 in for random purchases so I don't have to go on to my phone and convert, but for biggies I move only what I need. I wish I had staked more at the beginning for a prettier green card, but I can't complain. I honestly don't know how to upgrade my card/request a new one tho lol so hopefully the world dies before it expires

Sounds good! Will order one in 2 weeks then

>Wait 2 weeks
Does this mean if I just bought 5000 CRO a week ago that ill only need a portion of it to get the ruby or do I need an additional $250? How does this work, I just want to be a metal card Chad

>> No.30194317

I moved most of my crypto I stake to Nexo. They have like double APY than on Crypto and will be rolling out a card soon too.

>> No.30194413

I have the jade green since july of last year. Aside from a few times during all this time it works just like another Visa card. The cashback is not going to make you rich but it's good to see how it grows and the Spotify, Netflix and Amazon Prime (even though that's the next tier) are nice on the side. Also the normies like the metal card.

The app is very friendly to beginners and retards like me, I'm in crypto since may and I mainly buy and hold because I'm not smart or crazy enough to swing trade and I can benefit from the app just fine. Supercharger was better months ago but overall the earn and staking is nice.

As far as the CRO coin goes, it looks like it has a pretty good future ahead, but I'm sure someone with more knowledge than me will tell you more.

It’s capped at €14 or something a month now I think. Really wish I got in early on this.

Unless you meant withdrawals, GBP withdrawals have been "temporarily" suspended, Don't know when let alone if they'll resume

They own the Crypto.com IP, have a userfriendly app and will attract alotvof normies to the world of crypto, have their own visa card, have burt 70B tokens of the remaining supply and plan on becoming decentralized, they've also partnered with Aston Martin F1 a few days ago and have their logo on the car which will attract more norm norms. Overall I think they have great potential but I hear their customer support is somewhat non existent
