I thought Bayhorse was a scam? Why is this mining analyst saying that it's going to $1 and repeating everything that the shills have been telling me for weeks?

I don't feel so well.

"Bayhorse Silver Inc. (TSXV: BHS) finally got out of the gate and did a little canter from $0.10 to $0.20. Graeme O’Neill, the CEO, who I speak to every couple of days, is chuffed. Because he knows that to get to the couple of dollars Bayhorse could be worth he needs to build a base above 20 cents. The trigger event for Bayhorse will be big bags of high grade silver concentrate. The company already has an offtake agreement with Ocean Partners so it can sell the concentrate. Physical silver is showing signs of life and, frankly, looks poised for an “excursion”. (Silver spends years bumping along a bottom and then, for all sorts of strange reasons, takes off. A $50.00 silver price in 2021 is not at all out of the question.) Bayhorse has finally got enough money to finish its processing plant and cover the costs of going into production. It is a tiny operation. Two hundred tons a day of 21 ounce per ton silver rock. But it has room to expand and, well, 21 ounces per ton is the average grade. Bayhorse would not be the first mine in the world to “high grade” on commissioning. As the kids say, I am “diamond hands” for the run to $1.00 as Bayhorse re-rates as a producer."

>When yields go up dollar goes up
please explain this to me
the reason people are selling their bonds is because of increased inflation expectations, right? they think that inflation will rise faster than whatever pathetic sum they get from the bonds
if everyone thinks that inflation is going to go up, i.e. thinks the value of the dollar in relation to everything else will drop why the hell would they sell their stocks/metals and how the hell does this cause the dollar to go up in value?
I get selling bonds, bonds give you fuck all but why sell commodities?
if people sell all their bonds, sell all their stocks and commodities, what will they do with that money? pay down debts? that's stupid because they know the government is printing and sending out trillions in stimmy checks which means inflation will continue to increase no matter what people do with their bonds

also, Jerome clearly said that 'inflation is low' and that he wants inflation to increase
what this means is that if everyone sells their commodities and bonds the fed will just go out and buy it all up

don't people realize that YIELD is NOT DOLLARS?
dollars can be printed into infinity, YIELD is commodities!
if you sell you commodities for dollars because you are afraid that those dollars will buy less commodities in the future, aren't you mentally retarded? especially when you know that now the fed will print even more dollar! which means that there are even more dollars out there that could potentially lay claim to each commodity!

>I get selling bonds, bonds give you fuck all but why sell commodities?
Because as the yield goes up the market becomes increasingly shaky because everybody is overleveraged with debt. People will begin selling things because they need money to pay their debt, and this causes a chain reaction.
>if people sell all their bonds, sell all their stocks and commodities, what will they do with that money? pay down debts?
Yes!
>>30215091
From Powell's own mouth:
>"There’s just a lot of ground to cover before we get to that,” he said. Even if the economy sees “transitory increases in inflation … I expect that we will be patient.”
PATIENT inflation. That's no good for investors who want gains, people expect deflation to overrun inflation.
>don't people realize that YIELD is NOT DOLLARS?
Yield is FUTURE DOLLARS, and cash is king when there is deflation. Commodities is the place to be when there is inflation, and right now with the 10-02Y yield curve going up it's starting to look like 2008 again.

>Yield is FUTURE DOLLARS
NO! It's NOT!
when you chose not to 'consume' your dollars, i.e. turn your dollars into real world goods and instead take the risk of investing those dollars, do you do so because you want more dollars, or because you want more stuff? what people want is not dollars! what people want is goods and the basis of all goods is commodities! this is why we have nominal yields and REAL yields
nominal yields = dollar yields
REAL yields = dollar yields - the increasing cost of commodities = REAL YIELDS
yields are STUFF, when we invest and defer consumption we do so because we want to consume more in the future!

this is why gold is the ultimate money, because it is the ULTIMATE COMMODITY, gold is the most versatile metal in the world and it is also the only metal in the world that can do those things for an eternity (its value never fades) so if you have gold you will be able to trade it for any other commodity that you want
this is the REAL REASON why bitcoin and fiat is shit - bitcoin and fiat cannot be used to create the things that humans want, need and desire, they can ONLY be used to TRADE for things that can create the things we desire, i.e. the only way for someone with fiat/Bitcoin to buy useful stuff is to convince them to hand over those useful things for something that is NOT useful in hopes that someone else will trade those non-useful things (Bitcoin/fiat) for useful things (gold, silver, oil, etc.).
BITCOIN AND FIAT = PURE FAITH BASED SYSTEMS

>YIELD = ADDITIONAL WEALTH CREATED AS REWARD FOR SUCCESFUL INVESTMENT
>WEALTH = GOODS

I don't know what to tell you anon, the yield tells you exactly how many dollars you get your annual yield. Bonds are essentially future dollars. You are LENDING MONEY and you are being PAID BACK.

You are arguing again for inflation. That doesn't matter when there is deflation. In a deflation there is DELEVERAGING, because people are OVER-LEVERAGED WITH DEBT. This causes DEFAULTS, and defaults cause CREDIT (or in other words "printed" "money") to DISAPPEAR, causing the money supply to DECREASE.

Do you not understand anon? If there is no YCC being implemented, we will move onto a total deleveraging! Inflation REQUIRES MORE CREDIT TO BE ISSUED

True, in a deflation even big organizations like the COMEX can default. This is the point where banks, brokerages, insurance firms etc. start crumbling. If Central Banks let that happen we will all suffer but we will be in a better world a couple years from that. inflation would go up 100000000%, perhaps yields would go up as high as well, but who cares? if yields went up that high the US government would either have to default or the fed would have to print a quadrillion dollars to keep rates down, turning the dollar into what it really is - worthless paper
when will people realize that they are only slaves to this paper and its debt as long as they allow themselves to be?

To clarify what I mean, if we understand definitions correctly, there is no "deflation" whatsoever. We already have hyperinflation in the correct sense of "an uncontrollable expansion of the money supply." You couldn't even get $2 billion dollars' worth of silver if you wanted it, and yet the money supply is now tens of trillions; that's how bad things are. So as soon as even a fraction of this hyperinflated money supply chases the minuscule amount of metals on the COMEX, that's it, that's the end of everything, the dollar is exposed as a fraud and you get wiped out if you're holding either bonds, dollars, or dollar-denominated assets. And this flash-crash might just be the trigger for it, quite as it nearly was in March. People who talk about "deflation" in PMs are making two mistakes right now, 1) Not understanding the right meaning of the word "deflation" and 2) Confusing the paper COMEX price of PMs for the imminent real price.

Yes but anon, in a deleveraging credit contracts due to defaults. Most of the money printed is credit, debt. It simply goes up in the air if there is a default, and there are defaults all around in a deleveraging.

However, inflation will resume and the current financial system will prevail as long as Central Banks issue more credit -- or in other words picrel

Assuming a situation where Central Banks actually let economy deflate, your "money" in the bank is gone, full stop. Because you don't have money in the bank, you have IOUs, which are a form of credit, or in other words debt. I hold some cash outside the bank and I of course have my silver so in a situation like that I would be relatively well off. There would also be lots of time to take money out before a bank run happens.

Assuming a more likely situation where the Central Banks bail out financial institutions, I would then unload my cash into commodities and related securities. Right now it's simply the best to hold cash and see how far down we can go.

I'll wait until it's clear there is an intervention. Will get things at a cheaper price then.

See the yields. We need more.

Yeah the best thing to do is wait and see how far down we go before the Fed comes in and saves the day

The rate at which they are printing is "too slow" relative to the exponential growth needed. Basically the money supply is so massive at this point that they aren't doing enough to prop things up, so a deflationary deleveraging is still on the table.

Juniors are all down though. It's risk-off in the markets so bigger companies will do relatively well.

think theres a chance people are selling paper gold (ETF's, etc) because they fear the government might seize it should things get so bad that we need to impose another ~gold standard~?
if I owned gold ETF's I'd be shitting my pants right about now

Keep a ledger with your purchases and average your buy price.
When you can buy silver for lower than that price then buy more.
This is my normal buying pattern, but I end up FOMOing.
160oz, avg paid atm is about 30.25

I got batbois near the bottom of the dip for about $17/oz. All I remember is trying to order silver on my smartphone while on vacation and JMbullion being almost completely cleared out. Back then they didn't have an "in stock" button so you had to manually search all the categories. Generic rounds, coins, and bars were all gone, batbois were literally the cheapest thing they had lol.

My main LCS is out of most shot, has some genetics they want 36 for. My other LCS which normally overprices everything is running a sale on Chinese pandas for 31 each, they have hundreds left.
