That and also a lot of people have high paying creative jobs in 1% industries. My brother is an illustrator and artist, literally gets 5 figure commissions from time to time and has a comfy royalty stream from his published work. He genuinely enjoys working most of the time, he goes through manic/low output phases, but I think when he has work he's the happiest, even with the related stress.

I understand waggie hate, but also be aware that a lot of people don't want a life like the average /biz/ user. I know for a fact, barring my dad (who's also into the business world) most of my "artsy" family looks at me as the NPC.
