So what makes you think this isn't someone who wants to pick up more cheap OMG putting in a massive buy wall to scare more people into selling into them? If nobody buys, then this doesn't hurt the whale. If people sell, then this benefits the whale because they can acquire coins for cheap.

I saw a 224 BTC buy go into XRP a week ago at the very top (7000 satoshis) and sellers ate the wall. The price went down significantly after that, and is at 5000 satoshis now. Sound investment from a whale? No.

You can claim it's for accumulation because of a big move ahead. You may be right, but what high volume coin can you possibly lose on if you accumulate and are willing to wait months? With a massive stack like 200 BTC the rules for accumulating are definitely different, but so is getting rid of it. But in terms of fibbo, the 1week has been satisfied dropping below 50% (225~) which means a decent entry. If it drops below the 61% (215) that is considered a safe entry

The whale action means that in shorter time periods (ie smaller than 2 weeks) fibbos are not accounted for. That is catching up but where I am going is that we may see retracement down as low as the 78% (200) which is absolutely nuts. But whale is gonna whale. You can bet your ass they are accellerating the retracement as low as possible so they can scoop up on the cheap. Buying now and holding at least a week (if not 2) will probably see you 50% gains at least.

But if you wait and ride this to the bottom you could see as much as 75%-100% if you buy right when the whales flip and the market says enough is enough

In pic related, the left side of the book is full of open buy orders, meaning orders that people who want to buy OMG have placed. The right side is full of orders people looking to sell OMG have placed.
Under the "Total" column, you can see the amount of BTC that one sell or buy order is worth. For instance, the first red circle on the Bid side is 16.3886 bitcoin. It means that in order for that buy order to be filled, someone must sell that person (or persons) 16.3886 BTC worth of OMG at .00227580 BTC each (228k Satoshis for short). But in order for that buy order to be filled, all of the buy orders in which more money is being offered per OMG above it must be filled. If you look again under the total column on the Bids side, you will see that above that buy order there are only two other buy orders over 1 bitcoin. This is where the Sum column comes in handy. The sum column is the total number of bitcoins worth of OMG that must be sold for whichever Bid order you stop on to be sold. Take that first red circle for example again. Up to that 16 Bitcoin buy order, 8.8577 bitcoin worth of OMG must be sold, but after it, 25.4423 bitcoin worth of OMG must be sold for the price to keep going down. That 16 BTC order is referred to as a "wall", because it is a large obstacle for sell orders to overcome before the price of OMG can continue to go down. Under the "Bid" column you can see what price per OMG people are offering to buy OMG at. So you can say there is a 16 BTC wall at 228k satoshis (per OMG) and a 20 BTC wall at 225k satoshis (per OMG). If you look at the bottom of the Sum column, you will see that the total number of BTCs worth of OMG that need to be sold in order to reach a price of 223k satoshis per OMG is 52/6024


NOW look at the ASKS side. There are no large walls. The sum is much lower.

The best TA I see for crypto is the fibbonacci retracement bands, both for rises and falls. All crypto looks to have to pay tribute to these to the point it is scary. You can apply them to time periods as small as 1 day with great accurracy. They are accurrate fractally as well with increasing time periods: 3 day, 1 week, 2 weeks, even monthlong (though less so, like 90% versus 95%+)

This means that far fewer BTCs must be BOUGHT for the price to go UP than BTCs that must be SOLD for the price to go DOWN. If the market follows the path of least resistance (which it usually does) it will trend upwards. However, walls can be pulled, reset at different price points, and moved at any time. This is called "manipulation".

Say for example the price of a coin is falling, but there is a large wall at a low price. The price of that coin might stop falling once it hits that wall, because no one is willing to sell their BTC for that low, or there might simply not be enough volume to overcome such a large obstacle. The price will usually stop falling at that wall. The wall might be natural (lots of people put their buy orders at that price) or artificial (a whale might have put that wall up to stop the price from falling any lower). Conversely, if there is a large wall on the "asks" side of the order book, people will lose confidence in the ability of a coin to overcome that wall and it will likely stop increasing once it hits that wall. OR, if the wall was put into place by a whale and it can be pulled, essentially freeing the market to rocket to the moon if there arent any walls after that.

Depends on if these whales let it get down there. Going off this up down oscillating (smaller dips and hills) action centered on 225 though, I think this might be their accumulation point.

Watching that order book very carefully. If you see a 10K omg plus buy right at the top, I think that would be the best entry we will get in the next hours


Fibb wise we are in the 50% retracement range (225K) where 216K would be the 68%.

If you gotta take off / go to bed/work etc, right now is a safe entry. I am hoping for a dip back down at least to 215 myself. 210 would be amazing. 200 would be a windfall.
