I used to have a bunch of shitcoins, but I traded them all for ETH and then sold some ETH for BTC across the bounce today. Now I ended up with this. Seems really safe, but not that exciting. Today I hit ATH. I want to hop into NEO but price seems high. Don't know how to proportion my holdings if I was to buy NEO either.

I have an issue with optional anonymity. If the ledger is public and my address can be monitored there can be no anonymity. If I had 1 ETH yesterday and have .75 ETH today but the .25 isn't logged as an outgoing transaction it was obviously sent anonymously. I don't consider that anonymity.

It has good partnerships and is a good looking project with a legit use case. These kind of coins always get pumped eventually, you just have to wait. The moon hasn't happened yet because the coin is so young, so we'll just have to wait and see. The pump is usually seemingly random and not really justified, the coin goes parabolic and then dumps to slightly higher than before the pump. You gotta ride these things

Well, don't forget Bittrex have a 0.25% fee compared to the 0.1 of Binance.
It's just that, since i personally would use the exchange only for shitcoin moon missions with only less than 10% of my wealth while keeping all the rest for the big coins in bitflyer, i'm not going to give a fuck even at 1% fee.

That's a risky plan; climbing the ladder. If you make one misstep, you'll fall off and won't have the funds to get back up.

Be very careful if you're going to chase ICOs. Plenty of them drop in value immediately after the ICO - these are long term holds, and will not get you $100K any time soon. You'll see the loses and pull out prematurely (one possible scenario),

Basically, what I'm saying is with your plan and capital, you're going to face an incredibly difficult uphill battle to get to the financial point you're seeking.

Very good choice. They're objectively the best two coins. However, if you want to grow your portfolio much more I'd be trading p&d shitcoins chasing the 50% overnight gains in order to accumulate more, then settle down with long term investments like XMR and ETH.

I did my research and I believe that HST is likely to hit $1 by EOY. That's why I went all in.

I have so much confidence in HST, but I'm not emotionally attached to it. HST is only a stepping stone for me.

Tomorrow I will sell some of my HST to participate in WaBi ICO. I will hold the rest of my HST maybe until summer next year.

That's my strategy. Going 50% or 100% on coins that I believe have huge potential. REQ is also on my list, but I'll probably enter REQ in Q1 2018.

It's going to be too late for REQ by then, but ok. Be careful with ICOs too. I would still recommend bumping up from 1-2 to 3-5, you don't want to get confido'd and it increase your odds of getting higher ROI. Even HST doesn't make it, you're out all money. If any one of my 4 holds succeeds, at least I've immediately made back anything I've put into and more.

Basically, it reduces the risk while not hurting the potential for gain - all my holds I believe will x10 by EOY 2019, but because I have 4, they act as hedges against one another.

This is true for almost any coin right now, being that's it EOY 2017, and beginning Q1 2018. There's always a fuckload of good news. I'd still go with REQ, they have big news planned right now too, and it hits a wider demographic. HST is a rather narrow use case, but I think the project is cool. I try to invest in things that have as much practical utility for as many people as possible.
