every time we dump I contemplate selling but don't eventually. And every time it pumps I get excited and buy some more. Anyone else like this?

So what? When bitcoin is $1,000,000 you'll be retired. Who cares if it goes from $60k to $10k to $1mil or just $60k straight to $1mil? Just because you'll make a 50x and not 250x with the risk of not buying back in doesn't make you a victim.

It's retarded because you're choosing to hold something you know is going to go down in the near future. Every sign pointed to a bear market but you chose to ignore them. You deserve to be poor.

that's the point of the market dumbo, to get you to the point where you psychologically cannot take it anymore and share your shares for as low as possible

>> No.49559580

Do you have a thesis why you're invested? Because "line eventually goes up" isn't it, chief. I predict that this crypto bubble will permanently financially cripple so many 20-40 year old men that we're going to see a spike in suicide rates as the crypto market continues to collapse under the weight of its own bullshit. Crypto is going to turn into a cyclical scam that revs its engine every 3-5 years with each new generation of gullible young adults that hadn't had to chance to get burned by it yet. And I'm going to be there, waiting with cash on the sideline so I can short them again and again and again until the US government puts a lid on it like they did with gambling.

I don't know if it's going up or down and no one else does. You just got lucky that it got this low because of outside events like inflation and the fed.

>>49559563
gotcha so hold on to my bitcoin.

>>49559580
I'm invested for two reasons: one to hedge against inflation. And two for higher gains in the future. I believe most of crypto won't survive in the future but bitcoin is here to stay.

Weekend dump was because Celcius and Alameda had to liquidate hundreds of millions of dollars worth of ETH to pay back the money they lost "investing" users stETH. But yeah, also inflation, etc.

Does the BTC chart look like a hedge against inflation to you? It's a speculative asset. You can't have it both ways. It's either volatile enough for you to get huge returns on your investment or stable enough to be immune against the broader market shitting itself because of an impeding recession.
Bitcoin being an "inflation hedge" also fundamentally betrays that people don't actually think of it as a currency.
