> claims other revenue streams

Fiews already beat LinkPool to mainnet NAAS

> claims people will use their staking contracts

If the top node operators can beat LinkPool, they can probably write their own in-house staking contracts and avoid an admin fee

> claims staking/CCIP will increase their revenue

Yeah...so will holding LINK. Staking will also be available outside of just LinkPool

>> No.49950059

LPL baggies btfo lmao

>> No.49950091

I've been holding link for FOUR years and I STILL do not know what link pool is.

>> No.49950251

Linkpool is legit if you got in early but right now its massively overvalued and the only way for it to be a worthy buy is for all other staking options to be terrible for link AND the price of link to stay low and for lpl to offer massive apy, none of which is likely to happen. My suspicion is there are lpl holders on this board that understand this and are somewhat aggresively shilling it by promoting whatever few means there are to get some, such as the bancor pool. They also use aggressive jeet tactics such as "stay poor" if you question it at all.
tl;dr its not a scam, if you got in early its worth it, but its also probably overvalued by a good amount now and there aren't any buyers or liquidity to capitalize on this.

idk guys. maybe you feel comfortable just holding straight up LINK. I'm not a super trader and I'd rather be able to stake part of my stack knowing it will both appreciate and draw yield. over time it will definitely accrue more link than I would have if I just sold all my LPL right now, and I would still have my LPL afterward. linkpool is a known quantity too, and the currently market's only guaranteed entry into a pool from day 1. easy for me to just set and forget

The APY is literally 2% so if by over time you mean over a lifetime of 50 years, sure. But do you really think LinkPool will be around in 50 years? LINK is a protocol so that can exist forever (look at HTTP, TCIP, etc.). LinkPool is some random startup of 10 people that can easily be replaced any day.

There's no comfier hold than LINK. You could have literally made the same argument and replaced LinkPool with Bancor and look at what situation those bagholders are in.
