I'm thinking of getting a wagie job if we're really gonna see a big crash soon, I have a decent amount of money waiting in my Fidelity account but I think I could DCA all the way down to the bottom instead of timing it like I was thinking of doing if I have more income.
I'm a neet because I hate the idea of waging but honestly getting cheapies like this as a 20 something might not happen again, I think I might break my streak.

Anyone looked into Endo international?
Drug company with 3 Bil revenue and 130 mil market cap. That's fucking nuts, but there's a reason for them getting hammered for so long.
They just concluded a 14 year anti trust lawsuit that's been fucking with them and they've gone through a lot of other lawsuits.
They have 8 bil in debt and faced bankruptcy, but recently started bouncing as the lawsuit was settled. That 8 bil debt was most likely from their 2015 8 bil acquisition of Par Pharmaceutical, so this isn't a small company by any stretch of imagination. They've also acquired other billion dollar companies over the last decade.
That 130 mil MC for a company this size is just insane. This thing used to be worth 90$ at it's peak, now it's like 50 cents.
Seems like something with an absolutely retarded growth potential.

WHO just learned their lesson from covid. Now instead of saying an emerging disease isn't a threat and then pivoting to calling it a threat later and getting called out for being flip flopping little bitches, they have decided to just take both positions at the same time therefore insuring that they are always right.
Any chance this shit will have the same impact on cruises and hotels that covid did? After that carnival cruise chimp out that exploded over twitter it could be yet another nail in the coffin of the cruise industry. Sorta feeling like a safe short right about now.

I don't see any reverse splits in the charts, so my guess is that they've just been getting railed really damn hard by these lawsuits and now they're over.
The lawsuit was about the terms of a 2010 patent settlement agreement between Endo and Impax Laboratories.
They've also had 1200 lawsuits about their testosterone gel and have been recently attacked about contributing to the opioid epidemic, because these guys sell opioids.
But now that the anti trust lawsuit is cleared, this company should be good for long term growth.
Also one of their acquisitions Paladin Labs manufactures Plan B along with Birth Control pills. Now with the abortion stuff going on in the US, this might do very well in this environment.

I found this company couple of days ago and I'm damn tempted throwing this month's investment budget into it as a lottery coupon, because this is one of those things that can either go absolutely nuts or it can go to $0 due to some unexpected new lawsuit popping up.
But realistically they seem to be cleared for launch. I don't worry about their debt because they have massive revenue.
Considering how much money these guys have been throwing around acquiring other companies, they're not in my opinion a true penny stock, but rather a massively suppressed giant that's waking up.

But if someone knows more about this company please enlighten us of what's going on with it.

i have withdrawn 1mm from crypto and i want to just put it into VTI and forget about it

from what i understand VTI is VOO (SP500) but with small and mid marketcap stocks.

question: how are these small and mid marketcap stocks chosen? are there guidelines for them making it into the index in the same way there are guidelines for them making it into VOO (publicly traded company with market cap larger than the 500th company)? what are the guidelines for the small/midcaps in VTI? are they handpicked or do they also use some similar guidelines (if marketcap >x then voo, if marketcap >y then midcap vti, if marketcap >z then smallcap vti)??

After some research and applied effort, I believe, I finally understand, options contracts. Both puts and calls. What I've taken away is that i do not have enough base capital to risk on contractual speculation - at my current level I prefer the comfort and control of owning stock. Secondly, I am not yet smart/comfortable enough to read market movements/patterns to effectively utilize options trading in principle. Lastly, I should probably just use options conservatively to safely hedge my trades instead of playing weeklies or leaps?

what about other s&p sectors? more interested in financials/bank who got destroyed this year even though their stresstest was pretty good, they increased divvies last weeks and will report in 2 weeks.

>Spain has been forced to distance itself from the European Health Emergency Response Authority (HERA) to accelerate the arrival of Tecovirimat, an antiviral drug to treat patients infected with monkeypix. The Government has bought on its own a "small stock" that is already available in the health system in the absence of a faster response from the community body.
>The Executive has explained in a parliamentary response sent to the Congress of Deputies that it has opted to manage this initial shipment through the Spanish Agency for Medicines and Health Products (Aemps) to deal with the "immediate needs" caused by the entry scene of this zoonotic viral disease typical of areas of central and western Africa.
>Despite this decision, the Government does keep the door open to adhere to the centralized purchasing plans that the community bloc is deploying. HERA has already maintained "contacts" with several pharmaceutical companies for the supply of this antiviral, which is the only one that currently has the approval of the European Commission.

Good morning. In less than an hour, aircraft from here will join others from around the world. And you will be launching the largest aerial battle in the history of mankind. "Mankind." That word should have new meaning for all of us today. We can't be consumed by our petty differences anymore. We will be united in our common interests. Perhaps it's fate that today is the Fourth of July, and you will once again be fighting for our freedom... Not from tyranny, oppression, or persecution... but from annihilation. We are fighting for our right to live. To exist. And should we win the day, the Fourth of July will no longer be known as an American holiday, but as the day the world declared in one voice: "We will not go quietly into the night!" We will not vanish without a fight! We're going to live on! We're going to survive! Today we celebrate our Independence Day!
