The trick is to keep a door locked while "working" in my office, which has everything I could ever need to entertain myself in it and a bed and full bar, and it's well insulated against sound. Yeah, twice actually.
I've had a tough life where back in the days I've chosen between paying rent/electricity or buying food. I was even homeless at one point, living in my friends dusty unlivable attic.

Anyway, I spend ALL that time, studying programming and game development. And was able to get into one of the worlds best schools simply from my hands on skills. From there I applied to companies all over Europe and finally found one that would give me a chance.

First time it happened was when I finally landed a job, my then gf was jealous of my physical output every day compared to hers. I earned more than her and had more flexibility than her and was less tired after a long day.

We broke up and I moved back to my home country where I landed a job basically the day I arrived. When the pandemic hit my now gf has expressed the same thing. Jealousy that I earn a lot and is able to work from home.

Women think everything a man has came to him on a silver spoon. They cannot comprehend the sacrifices, luck and pure grind many men has to endure to get ANYWHERE in life.
