Called back got the same guy. He said the call dropped when he tried to reconnect after talking with corporate actions which I guess could happen. Anyway here’s what he’s said:
1.Corporate actions told him this was a normal forward split. He argued with them a bit but they told him “to not beat around the bush and this was the direct answer” but he felt it was weird.
2. He’s never seen a stock split that’s been handled this way before, and everything he’d been told is that it’s a forward split. He agreed that it was extremely strange that in the filing it said in the form of a dividend but it wasn’t distributed as such.
3. They have received hundreds of calls about this issue, but have hardly ever received any calls about any other splits. Reverse/forward/dividend or otherwise
