Realistically, how much can i make coming from a cs background teaching myself Solidity through yt? Is the space too crowded with pajeets and scam projects there are virtually no decent companies offering junior roles?

Finishing Master's with ~1 year in the industry as ML researcher

There's still plenty of demand but it's a bit harder to find work because there isn't a robust system for hiring like there is in web2. It's a lot of knowing the right people, but the pay is nuts if you can get a gig. I taught myself solidity with only a math background and very little coding experience and dunk on all my CS graduate friends
