So Chainlink never figured out who I was, and we are in the clear. So I will give you all some more info, I saw my post went viral floating around twitter and some copycats posted after me, I've only ever made the one post. Yes, Sergey is the culprit behind Celsius, Nexo, etc. No, the shorting has not stopped. Robinhood is now being used as a short vector through, you guessed it, SBF. Price suppression is all they're focused on. The spike to $9 caused a lot of panic, and you were almost into the clear, but some of the liquidity from the current 500k unloads is making its way back to continue shorting Chainlink

As I said before, the team is desperate to prevent a parabolic move up. Now that the cat is out of the bag on Celsius and Bancor, Sergey has moved to SBF/Robinhood/FTX to continue suppressing LINK. We are surprised there's not some cocky billionaire who decided to market buy a shit ton of LINK and cause a fun squeeze, but they've managed to avoid it. All we know about SmartCon is any run up will be suppressed. $10 will become an impenetrable wall to break

Sam got hit with the SOL hack and massive fud after announcing he would attend the Smartcon which he is doing because Chainlink had added official support for SOL at that time.
If you remember the price initially pumped on the Robinhood announcement until Celsius dumped 2 million LINK at that specific moment.

Now that SOL has Chainlink node support, their future success depends from Chainlink's ability to develop new products and scale, which means they have an interest in helping Chainlink secure more funding and support because it benefits their own blockchain.

The BTC dump in the last days was certainly perfectly timed once more to suppress the Chainlink price action, but this only means that someone is desperate enough to need to do this, and that someone pays for fud on /biz/ because they are heavily short on Chainlink.

Nexo's 2 million user owned LINK were sold at around $7 which means they are at a loss, and the Aave 4.8 million LINK short is still not closed.

The ETH merge which was planned for April or May got delayed to September.
This delayed everything by 3-4 months and caused the price crash.
Staking v1.0 is needed for the complete version of CCIP and it needs to be tested first with a v0.1 release.
We should get staking released in the next 2 months, and CCIP will likely get the release in its initial v0.1 test version in December to keep the promise of releasing it this year.

The Tornado Cash thing is extremely bullish for Chainlink because it means the banking cartel just made ETH into their toy in preparation for heavy use and tried to remove everything from ETH they didn't like.
It's also bearish for the decentralized future ETH may have tried to sell, as it will become the boomer smart contract chain for the banking cartel with no privacy, but it will make money from this and reach higher valuations in exchange.
Some of that money will also flow into Chainlink through community grants and their nodes playing a more important role in the validation of the POS network.

Because the switch to POS carries a high risk, they may wait until it is officially merged to release new features and we could get staking released a few days before the SmartCon or announced in it and released 1-2 weeks after because preparing such a big event takes a lot of resources and time and it's better to be focused on one topic when you release new features.

Another interesting topic is the FED FOMC meeting 1 week before the SmartCon which could pump the markets depending on the announcement or cause it to dump.

Maybe the starts are aligning for September?
