Rightfully so, even Marx agreed
>"If the paper money is in excess, if there is more of it than represents the amount of gold coins of like denomination which could actually be current, it will (apart from the danger of falling into general disrepute) represent only that quantity of gold, which, in accordance with the laws of circulation of commodities, is really required and is alone capable of being represented by paper. If the quantity of paper money issued is, for instance, double what it ought to be, then in actual fact one pound has become the money name of about one-eighth of an ounce of gold instead of about one-quarter of an ounce. The effect is the same as if an alteration had taken place in the function of gold as a standard of prices. The values previously expressed by the price £1 will now be expressed by the price £2."

Finally went to my LCS today. His selection was a little limited but he open carried and seemed pretty chill so that was good sign. Got me some old ass Morgans for a good price and he gave my change in a $2 bill.
I asked about scrap value he paid for people selling him things and he admitted it was ambiguous but I'll try to show up with a decent lot and see what I can get.
I also checked for foreign coins and he said two other guys already come through and buy them so it might be hard to work my way into getting any.
Only other LCS is 30 mins away and is only open on weekdays 10-5 so my wagie lunch break isn't enough to get there and back.

>1.8Moz drained from comex's registered today alone
Wew, it's really accelerating. 47Moz of silver left in the banksters' vaults. -70% drained since Jan. 2021.
At the rate of the past few days, it will be emptied before December.
Ignore fake pricing, this is the only thing who matter. Also reminder the SGE's valuation (Asian comex) decoupled from the nymex/comex last week.

The commodity war is on full gear behind the (((curtains))). The illusion of fake digital wealth is slowly erroding into nothingness. Once the normies wake up to it, it will be too late for most.

The W cube has the sharpest edges, but the C and Ti cubes are a close second. I'm guessing the C cube is really fragile though, so not going to push hard.

I expect a Sn cube in a day or two. Will play "Blockies" (ever seen Fluffy comics?) when it gets here.

The low amount of silver left in registered shows you it's the opposite : nobody want to sell. All the whales prefer to remain in elligible because they DONT wanna sell at the current price.

Imho what's happening is the CME + JPM want to use their exception rule and settle for cash at the lowest cost possible. For this to happen they are letting the vaults depleted while shorting like crazy. And at the last minute they will pull a "woops we don't have any left, lets settle for cash at 14/oz teehee".
And another point who is never talked about is the risk of confiscation. If the situation on the commodity markets become too extreme, like it did with nickel, it's not out of question to see seizing happen. It's something the kikes must fear above all, so i wouldn't be surprised to see most of the registered depleting being simply kikes hiding away their stacks in various franco-de-port zones, like the Geneva storing units.

Lmao, but in all seriousness, metals are not a short term investment. It seems foolish to not have a few months worth of expenses saved in fiat. What if you get shitcanned? What if an actual good investment deal comes up? What if unforeseen home, auto, or medical expenses come up? What if _____?

Everyone in /pmg/ talks a big game about prepping for when shit hits the fan, but few seem to be preppared for the most common economic events, ehich can be mitigated simply through saving. But I guess saving isn't as sexy to brainlets as commodity fetishism and post-apocalypse escapism.

I can only envision 2 scenarios where someone doesn't have fiat savings to get them through a few months:
>1) you're a poorfag who can't afford to save
>2) you're an autistic spergelord who thinks the global reserve currency will collapse in 2 weeks and when it does, only bullion will pay bills

>I know many independent agents who will buy at the market rate
Bull fucking shit. People don't make money buying bullion at market then turning around and selling it at market. You might know some individuals who might buy bullion from you for markerlt, but you do not have "independent agents" to whom you can offload your metals to at spot PLUS premium. If you ever need a large chunk of money, offloading your metals will be stressful and not guaranteed.

No it fucking can't as I've already explained, but in case you've missed it I will single it out so you've got no excuse that you don't know about it.

Quantitative Easing

What quantitative easing does is steal FROM FIAT SAVERS. Money printers are going to go wild over the winter period which means if you leave your wealth in fiat it means it WILL go down in value in the near future. You only have to look at the history of gold to see this.

We all make our choices due to the situations we're in. Most people have savings locked in their property. For those that don't have that option they can put it in a commodity like gold and silver. All that matters is getting your store of labour out of fiat.

The move follows the Group of Seven leading industrial nations’ decision, which includes the U.S., on June 26 to ban Russian gold exports in response to the country’s invasion of Ukraine on Feb. 24.

The package, announced initially on July 15 by the European Commission, introduced the import ban on Russian gold and worked to strengthen dual use and advanced technology export controls in an attempt to “reinforce the alignment of EU sanctions” with the G7.

Riiiiiiiigggggggghhhhhht! So there's no reason for a bank to limit what people can spend their money if it's going to affect the banking industry. So to you banks in the UK are just making new terms and services that don't mean anything. Yeah the canada situation probably woke up a bunch of people that they shouldn't trust the banks. Also in kazakhstan they tried to lock people out of their accounts if they didn't take the "vaccine". That turned out really badly, with the population setting government buildings on fire, tearing up police stations and taking their gear. The government quickly gave up.
Personally I like to have some cash for emergency use, but during the lockdowns I withdrew far too much, and ended up with 20K in 50-euro notes. Can't legally buy gold or silver with it in this cucked land, so I've been slowly using it for supplies, canned food, etc. And when the stores get firewood this fall, I'm going to buy a ton of that (literally).

Holy shit this low IQ take. I’ve been saying for months now that the premiums on ASEs will continue to outpace other coins and rounds. That ASEs are a good buy because of this as opposed to people claiming the “buying weight” is better. Well what do you know? Anyone who bought ASEs pre-Covid is sitting very pretty right now. Anyone who bought in 2020 or 2022 have not lost any value. Anyone who bought buffalos is sitting on a loss waiting for silver to rise back to $30. Your FUD is terrible. I made the specific point months ago that the US mint having problems with supply will make ASE premiums skyrocket. Your telling me that low supply of eagles will hurt their price? Are you a retard? When supply is low and demand is high, guess what happens. When the rush is on for silver again like in 2020, Eagles will have 100%+ premiums.

buying for weight is better if price goes up. buying something collectible or numismatic is better if price happens to fall because the premiums dont go anywhere due to inelasticity (if you just gotta have that boomer ASE)

since silver is doing terribly, yeah, ase were a better buy if you have a bunch from a while back.

Therefore, if all things still the same at $50/toz silver,

The moment you start tweaking the premiums downward closer to gold the less and less desireable a stack of ASE's is as the spot price gets higher. Imagine if Gold Eagles were 70% premium, they would be $3060 or there about. In all likelihood the premium would come down unless some significant legal benefits were codified to silver eagles/constitutional silver etc.

I'm not being disingenuous for the exact logic I just laid out. Let's say silver moons to the current price of gold($1700). Why would someone want to pay over $3000(at 70% premiums) for an ASE when they could get a generic 1oz round for under $2000(at 17% premiums)? The only conceivable reasoning for the discrepancy in value of silver eagles vs generic(or even other sovereign coins) is derived from some possible legal benefit to US citizens for having an ounce of silver demarked in USD. Unless that benefit is realized the distance between ASE and generic premiums would absolutely close as the spot price of silver increased.

So this would fall under dollar milkshake theory, which is based of the strength of the US bond market in the face of the collapse of other foreign bond markets.
Though the dollar pumping can only last as long as either foreign nation have capital to give, and that no other nation has a strong currency/bonds.
The former won't happen because money printer goes brrrr, but the latter could happen as the Russian ruble strengthens with their grip on the commodity market growing stronger and as the Chinese yuan is now tradeable for suadi oil.

His argument makes sense but only with many outrages assumptions and constraints. Even under his assumptions, I show that if you spend $10 more today on 1 oz, you will make $125 more in the future. The lesson here is to spend a little more on eagles but don’t reduce the number of ounces. That’s how you maximize your gains. It’s ironically the “stack weight” meme. The problem is that people apply that to cheap generic when they should be buying maples, eagles, and maybe some lower premium coins. Generic rounds NEVER make sense to buy.
