Life is over if you're not born rich

>> No.51382088

>>51382073
It’s not over, but you have to waste a ton of your life to get money, unlike those born rich who can experience everything without having to work for the resource to purchase said experiences

>> No.51382104

>born rich
>experience all good things available on earth by age 25
>live another 75 years with no reason to exist, having already done everything there is to do in this world
>no sense of accomplishment
this is like cheating in video games the game get's old after 5 minutes; imagine being forced to play it for an additional 75 years with god mode enabled

>>51382104
Well yeah, that’s why people who experience tons of money end up dying young in some way.

Like how people get famous and go from $0 to being worth $50 million in a few years, and then die of drug overdose or some shit

>> No.51382151

being born rich is the good times create weak men meme on an individual scale. sure it doesn't really matter because you can still pay your way out of most hardships, but very weak character and principles fwiw. i have met a few cool rich people whose parents didnt spoil them though, that's how you should do it

I think it's unlikely in your generation - again your grandkids could do it. I think the best approach would be to use your resources to start creating a parallel society. Read into St. Benedict and the Fall of Rome. Have 10 children. Redpill them and ensure they get high status positions.

Why is it hard to fathom that some people work for fun, experience, or accomplishment? I know a ton of old boomers who are retired ten times over with three houses, a restaurant franchise, and 8 timeshares, they still choose to be mechanics or safety managers and go to the local church on Sundays, even though they could be anywhere in the world right now.

I live within my means and I'm pretty fuckin happy bro. You can be a gazillionaire, but at the end of the day, you have a peripheral vision of whatever is in front of you, can take a height and arms-length span on a bed, can only eat maintenance worth of calories, and likely will not live past 100. Life is what is in front of you, and rich people generally use that to become educated, which is freely acceptable to any westerner with a library or internet.

i'm not going to lie to you I am wealthy from birth, and there really aren't any downsides.
It's a little demoralizing as of late because people are starting to notice how shit life is (to be frank).
>>51386058
On this point, I can say that if you've been through an actual hell, whether that's grinding your way up from nothing to money, or having money in europe when the nazis are making their way through town and your kitchen is burried in the yard because they'll confiscate it all for the war effort, you have a different perspective.
It's not hell for all of them, and ironically, it's usually the people that seem the most down that are actually banging my mom's hot friends.

idk man, I don't even want to discredit your feelings of shits being fucked. It's just that I hate seeing rich ppl being whiny about the same shit poor people been through. I guess a lot of rich kid childhoods are fucked, but man, most poor people also have far from a great time growing up.
But at least you guys have some sort of security and means to compensate setbacks aswell as the (financial) means to take on risks an opportunities. Things that require little to no effort for you are utterly unattainable for most other people.

I dropped out from an Ivy League school 10 years ago because of my OCD (which I didn't recognize back then and got diagnosed as depression). If my parents hadn't been trailer trash I could have bounced back from that but instead I had to work eventually go back to uni finish top of my class and still work a mediocre job. That event really blackpilled me about the way things really are. All my life I thought working hard and getting good grades would guarantee success, but the most important ingredient in that is having a good support system and that includes having access to some money. I look back at the kids from HS who made it, no surprises, kids from well off families who handed them their business or children of local politicians

There's nothing bad about it but if you're depressed and aren't able to see the positive in anything, having 100s of millions won't change anything. Some people are just born miserable and sad no matter how much money they have.
