It doesn't cause cancer, but because it speeds up almost all of your bodily functions it will speed up the reproduction of cancer cells if you happen to already have cancer. That's why the people who use/abuse it tend to have annual checkups. I also forgot that lot of athletes use it as part of their doping regimen because of how easy it is to hide use from the control tests.
