Why? In the example of TQQQ and SQQQ it makes a lot of sense to me if you're trying to protect your long position by hedging it with an inverse short position. Especially if you're getting good entries on both. It would make sense to be long term bullish and short term bearish and just use the hedge to make some money to buy more of the dip in the long position, no? Aha, that's where I got 320 from. From peak to valley with fib levels, 322, 273, and 224 are key levels. If it falls past 320 and then it becomes a resistance, I'm shorting hard.

I've seen a few people swear by services like Unusual Whales etc, and while I like the idea, every paper (and non paper) trade I've tried to do for flow gets absolutely demolished. So I'm still tweaking it until I can get things just right. I don't mind spending $400/year on subscription services if it will give me information to avoid entering a bad trade and losing $1000.

And while you can't understand what the big guys are doing, it gives you a rough idea. I've seen enough screencaps of 800%+ returns on spreads that I'd be happy to consistently get like 40% a week/month and grow successfully on smaller trades. It's just finding them and not being retarded about it.

One of my favorite things to do is to see the breakevens on an ATM straddle for a particular expiry, since that (roughly) tells you what the market is expecting the price to move towards, and you can write contracts appropriately
