It's probably a good idea to short Nintendo for now, but given that the Switch is a 5 year old console Nintendo will probably release a newer more powerful offering in a few years. That being said, the Steamdeck will take away a significant share of the Handheld market from Nintendo unless they come out with a better handheld offering than the Switch Lite.

I will never buy a handheld game console until battery technology improves. I'm tired of recharging shit, and I'm tired of worrying about battery life, and worrying about the battery's charge becoming weaker every month until it becomes a permanently plugged-in inferior gaming computer.

I'm tired of worrying about battery life becoming permanently shit if I charge over 85%, and tired of worrying about battery becoming permanently damaged if charge is too low. I'm tired of tiny screens and shitty controls that are always worse than a simple computer and mouse.

And I hate expensive games with limited libraries. Also my switch controller batteries are already dead after a month of use.

I'm just going to play PC games now
