Daily reminder that finance and economics are pseudoscientific make believe garbage and capitalism is inherently unstable, exploitative and unsustainable with a built in expiration date. Ever escalating recessions, poverty, debt, wealth inequality, monopolies, disease, pollution, exploitation, slavery, conflict and wars are fundamental, necessary and intended principles of it, NOT glitches. Greed, selfishness, lying, cheating, stealing, competition, conflict, slavery and war are behaviors highly encouraged and incentivized under capitalism. It is LITERALLY cancer and i dont mean it metaphorically, i mean it literally, it shares the exact same functions and principles as a cancer cell.

You know how all of you parasites always say "HuRr durr gommunism maybe good in theory but always 'fails'"? Well capitalism doesnt even work in theory and unfortunately for financier parasites like you, we live in a mathematical universe and if something cant be expressed in a theoretical/mathematical way it WILL not appear or be maintained in the physical world.

The freer the market the more enslaved everything and everyone else is and the more blood sacrifices need to be performed to "the Line god". An economy needs to be as regulated and planned as possible to serve the living beings needs and desires and be able to be adjusted according to our needs at any given moment/period.

4chan parasites, financiers, rightoids and nazis like you will seethe and cope but these are the facts and the longer you deny them and bury your heads in the sand and scapegoat innocent beings("niggers","females",poors,"faggots","kikes" or whoever you braindead parasites hate) the more you will continue leading lonely, sad, hateful and painful lives into even more miserable and pointless deaths as the proud, obedient, compliant, insecure and submissive bootlicking proud modern day slaves that you so desperately want be

Jerome splashes water on his face in a seedy hotel bathroom and straightens his tie in the mirror, his right eye twitches a few times. He gives himself a shake and steps out of the bathroom. The scene is grim, needles and bongs litter the sleazy hotel room not to mention all the condoms and semen everywhere interspersed with the most rancid whores imaginable, the kind 2scoops would hire. All the Fed presidents, women included, just ran the biggest drug fueled train on the market imaginable. The market is whimpering in the corner about shrinkflation while jizz leaks out of every hole. Once the condoms ran out everyone just fucked the market raw, he smirks as he remembers the market begging them not to. Several of the other junkie prostitutes are passed out about the room and he has to step over them on his way out. It won't be long before they start to wake up and find the pile of dead chinese ones with Evergrande branded on their asses in the bathroom tub. Jerome walks over to the market and bends down and whispers, "Come back when you need more QE, bitch." and spits in her face. Smiling as he walks out he remembers he needs to return some video tapes. He heads down to the hotel office to pay them 9 billion dollars for the hotel stay on his fake CC under Hunter Biden's name. "What about black unemployment?" he says out loud on his way down, mimicking Janet Yellen's raspy old woman voice and laughs to himself.

As they should.
30y treasuries under 5% is pretty much donating funds to the government.
High yield should be 8%+

However, none of the funds that pushed the S&P 500 (or the markets in general) to astronomical highs from 2008 onward have been removed from the markets. They all still lie dormant somewhere, somehow.

Therefore I believe that the decade+ long crab-fest (with a downward drift) that might be upon us will still be highly oscillated up and down.

because those people dont know how to use options theyve been told that its a way to make money and they are obsessed with quick gains. they people who know what they are doing dont even really have to tell you about black scholles or greeks or any of that because they can just use price action and play on futures and go long/short on anything. there are some really interesting strategies and ive made lots from them but gun to my head you dont need to know any of it. learn price action and how to trade first and you will defacto learn options because you will feel the need to want to protect your position or squeeze out more juice in a very particular way and then will find there is a derivatives play you can make that you can tailor to your trading style. even the people who are all about options and shit are lying or are missing the skills in order to trade and are doing a fuck load of math and thinking to come up with the same concept as the people just drawing lines for profit/losses on a chart.
>>52773361
yeah options play book is informative. I dont see this anywhere that i learned the hard way is buying shit at the absolute peak/low is retarded b/c options then likely have volatility tacked on bigly but if you make you bid/ask right before the trend is changing you can get better prices depending on what you are doing.

I think this is because nvidia realizes it is going to start seeing increasingly poor sales figures since crypto is kill. (And yes I know ETH moved off GPUs way back)

Additionally I have a friend who looks at sales figures for ubiquitous data center and they have stated that sales for q4 look godawful. I'm expecting nvidia to be specifically in trouble here since the ai/meta scams are unwinding and they were far too greedy basing growth on meme/scam customers.

I've been learning options from the very beginning of not even knowing what options were at all just a few or so weeks ago. I learned *of* them right here. I learned a bit of the most bare basics of what they are right here. I asked questions, and got a few answers, but hit a wall of getting answers and it turns out there are inherent reasons for that...the only way to learn it is to do a lot of reading, watching vids, and PAPER TRADING. There is just no substitute for putting in the time/effort yourself and there's only so much viable "discussion" it allows for.

Yesterday I made an imaginary $220 in Robinhood and around noon today made imaginary $82 in thinkorswim. Robinhood is a lot easier to play with but I'm going to put in the time/effort to learn thinkorswim (about to watch a bunch of vids) because it's a lot more robust and less lagging from real time which I want for when I start doing live trades.

Remains to be seen.
It's mere guesswork from every angle.
Shit ain't didn't break down through the lockdowns and everything chugged on nicely.
Shit didn't break during muh 70s with 10%+ interest rates. There was still a functioning market and economy.
And shit might not even break with no rate cuts for the remainder of the decade.

Not everything plays out in either "crash" or "moonshot" scenarios.

High inflation and the interest rate raises so far have been resoundingly accepted by the economy, by business and by the customer.

Yeah, this dude is troof. What option are, at their simplest, is a way to trade with high leverage but low risk. The stop-loss is built in as you can never owe more than you risked. A beginner should start with young contracts with a few months to exp and just trade simple puts and calls as you would long and short regular stocks on margin. Start by risking only 10% and plan to use asymmetric hedging such as long oil when you are short the S&P pr whatever. TLDR sry.

It was a complete shitshow but yes it could still function. Things are nowhere near the same and pointing to a time 50 years ago is retarded. We have a multitude more debt and our economy has had rates at 0 for over a decade. 70s stagflation wasn't coming off a decade of free money.

They see small consistent gains and think they can just increase positions because it's they find something that works 90% of the time. Yes, I am an options seller myself. You technically can get 10x leverage if the premiums received are high enough

Not getting wrecked means knowing about what assets to short, how to trade VIX options etc.

Basically half of my portfolio is selling puts on undervalued dividend paying stocks, and the other half is selling naked puts on VIX, VIXM, and SARK. I even do a few super otm naked calls on the VIX and UVXY.

Despite 10x leverage, my portfolio is no more volatile than the S&P 500.

Trouble is, most people don't know about the VIX or about Betting against Beta, and so just sell naked options on WSB tier stocks because of high premiums, and get rekt
