As someone who used to frequent the board, I can confidently say that it has fallen to its lowest level ever. Gone are the days of vibrant memes and jokes, replaced by a horde of incels and degrading plebbitors.
It's truly disheartening to see how far the board has fallen. It was once a place where people could come to share their thoughts and ideas, to have thoughtful discussions and to enjoy the creative content that others would post. But now, it seems like that's all gone.
In short, the board has become a shadow of its former self. It's a shame to see what has happened to a once-great community, but it's clear that things need to change if it's ever going to return to the board of gullible mongoloids it was.

For me personally the site was fun around 10+ years ago when crypto was taking its first breath. Then all of the threads were crypto. Now the discussions are more macroeconomics related which I enjoy more. This site has people coming and going: some are gems but many are just trolling. That’s the addiction, some people drop some crazy knowledge that you wouldn’t get somewhere else and you just want more.

4chan as a website took from my life and gave too. The thing I miss most was the optimism of the past really bros. People believed in a future that could be better for themselves and their country / the world. I myself am a doomer now too, things have gotten to out of hand for me to genuinely feel positive.

If you don’t like the site, then I think it’s a good idea to leave, but I don’t mean that in a hostile way either. Coming here isn’t necessary if you don’t like it then take a break, nothing wrong with that.

Neither of those qualities are impossible by any means. I was close to meeting both of those up until getting laid off recently. All the jobs I’m applying for are six figure paying ones and I have another job paying 50k plus 6.5k a year in dividend stocks giving me some passive income. Going from a neet to 150k within a year is certainly feasible, if you’re remote and have confidence in job interviews at least.

I really do miss when people were more funny on here, I wasn't on here everyday or anything but I felt like people had a better sense of humor in the past.

Also people (or at least Americans) are always fighting over if they hate Democrats and Republicans here lately, but I don't think either side likes their own party either. Like, can we all agree that both parties are shit? I feel like our "checks and balances" are being circumvented by two large parties being the only input into it, and they get massive donations. They are two parties divided on solving actual issues and non issues, and one party on fucking us. It's a one party system. Instead of feeling attacked when someone criticizes a party you don't even feel represents you well, just like... agree that they both suck? Like, antifa you take the right and prowdies take the left? Or whatever the big groups are now that each side hates? I don't expect anyone to kumbaya over what I'm saying, but I at least want to plant a seed in peoples head on what I think the actual issue is.
