There are many kinds of rich people who have different ideas on how to use their money. You need to let go of your oversimplifications. Owning a home isn't required to have peace of mind, good sleep, or good food. It's irrelevant, actually, unless you have some fears about shelter and the future, but that's between you and your psychiatrist.
