Can somebody please explain why this notification exists? It is rarely reflective of people actually searching for you as an individual, although on occasion the 'Top companies your searchers work at' section will have an obscure company and you will be able to connect that to an individual who was likely actually searching for you

My experience of LinkedIn;
- Number of searches are meaningless
- Notification emails are just junk mails
- I have had invitations to apply for a job through it a few times in the last year. I have no idea if they were asking 10 or 100 people though.
- Some of the recruiting agents I've had roles through in the past seem to have stopped using it and prefer to call/ email directly.
