>I work at hotel night shift.
>See Guests ask for cough drops & Food that we don't have.
>use big brain and start bringing these things to work, making sandwiches too.
>Guest says they're hungry. I tell them I sell sandwiches for $8, and cough drops for $5.
>I only accept cash for those.
>They accept
>Now I'm making $200-$400+ a night from the side-hustle alone

Hustlers, what do you do?

What hell hole hotel guest would buy a mystery sandwich from a night shift wagie? Do they ask for lube and meth too?

At the hotel there's weddings, and other big events. A father will have 4 children and his wife and him all order something together. There's people who are alcoholics who will get 6 drinks for their party of 4. Since the bar closes at night I replace them. Our shop sells beer for $8 a CAN, and people spend over $60+ in a single purchase then come back 3 hours later to do it again. Don't underestimate what a party of 30 people who came back from a wedding will spend.

Every restaurant nearby is closed. I'm not in downtown city, there is no restaurant. They either buy from me or starve till morning.

Dude, you'd be surprised, especially the travelers, workmen and such that are there on temp and all else closes down early; they're just looking for grub and 8 dollars doesn't seem like nothing when you need something in the stomach.

that's fucking awesome, keep them in a cooler in a back pack or duffle bag if back pack isn't big enough. Keep it hidden from your coworkers or boss or you'll ever be punished or they'll steal the customers

To make things more fun. Since all our shop items can be bought at grocery stores for cheaper. I buy those same products from the grocery store. if someone gives me cash, I then take the cash. And replace the product with my own so inventory doesn't come out sus. So if we sell a Water bottle for $4 (that's the actual price). Then I replace that water bottle with my own and the manager can never find out. If people complain about the prices of a product being too high (Like we sell a tiny bag of chips for $3) I tell them I can give them two for the price of one if they pay cash. Then stuff that cash, replace the chips with my store-bought ones and inventory comes out perfectly fine. Basically a water bottle at the store is equivalent of less than 20 cents, but when I sell it here it's $3 for a Dasani, $4 for Smart Water. The flipping is INSANE here.

Idc about the morality of it all just letting you know that in nost countries what you are doing is theft

>> No.53190676

>>53190642
No it's not. I never took items from the company. And it is legal to sell your own stuff doing work hours here. I didn't take money from the register.

>> No.53190695

>>53190642
to clarify. Theft is if you take something from a company or take money from a company. I did not take water from the company or take money from the company. I sold my product during company hours. If I sell a pack of gum for $2 at walmart, Gum that I bought. That's not theft. If I put my pack of gum on the shelf, and someone buys it. That just makes it look like it isn't my gum, even though it is.

you'd make actual money if you could move actual shit that needs to actually fucking move.
doesn't help when all you have is garbage that you're pushing. move shit that people don't want and replace it with stuff people want, not what the producers tell you to put there.
