Trying to find methods of getting gold on discount. Is Ebay bucks still a thing or will it come back for gold purchases? What about rebates / cashback portals, do any of these work for gold?

The advice I can give is use credit cards that have sign up bonuses. Everytime I can, I get a credit card that gives a $200-$500 signup bonus and use it to buy gold. Outside that my regular card gives 2% back.

Sorry, I should learn to be more clear:
The closest shop to me is selling Type 1s for $50 that are from 2020 going by the website image
I called a shop further away that is selling 2023 Type 2s for $45 to see what they would pay for Type 1s
They're an authorized Royal Canadian Mint Distributor so maybe that's part of why they don't feel the need to be generous to acquire Eagles since they have this official hookup for getting bullion?
That first shop that is selling the Type 1s doesn't say anything about being authorized so I assume there's a difference in how business is conducted and how they stay supplied
It's actually interesting to see the differences in what they have in stock despite both being about 30 minutes from me

Don't believe it anyways, but lets say it were to happen. I can guarantee that physical prices will not drop even close. Back in may 2020 prices dropped to 12 bucks and everyone was backing the trucks up, within an hour or 2 no one was selling anything and then that is where premiums spiked to the levels they are today. If the prices dropped that low, premiums on physical will become higher

Are there any countries or places that sell gold below spot? For example, if I flew to Mexico city, somewhere in south America, Africa, Europe (it doesn't really matter) with a pile of cash, are you still looking at only being able to get gold at spot?

Now to add some more spice / controversy to the topic. Are there any places that have "dirty" gold that they are trying to offload? For example, nazi gold, ship wreck gold or gold with claims on it from foreign governments, gold from embargoed countries / places that may be linked to unethical methods such as war, corruption, slavery, child labor, etc (like the movie blood diamond but for gold). Like is it in the realm of possibility to have the ability to drive to the congo with a briefcase of USD and have the opportunity to buy gold @ 80% of spot for example? (outside the possibility of being robbed/killed yourself)

I obviously don't condone war, corruption, slavery, child labor, these are just discussion topics.

Might come a time in the note distant future you will be able to go to Wyoming atms/banks to exchange Feddy Fiats for Wyoming Goldbacks.

conflict gold gets laundered all sorts of ways, but the simplest way is its sold to mints in the UAE or Saudi Arabia, it rarely ever makes its way to the west anymore. The same goes for conflict tin now, the arabs have been buying the raw ore for quite some time from Congo and ship it to refiners in China for processing.

Gold mined illegally / legally gray in central / south america is a bit different, its often laundered locally and ends up mixed in with the legit gold production of countries like Bolivia, Suriname, Brazil and Peru. The government knows its going on but doesnt stop it because its too lucrative.

>> No.53578591

as for buying gold below spot in the third world, its possible but your not going to get anything close to pure gold, your likely going to find sponge gold from mercury processing, or mill gold from other methods thats cast off from major mining as waste. You sometimes see odd chunks of raw gold on facebook buy and sell scams for example. It looks like its been worked but not smelted, thats gold thats been pealed from inside ball mills or rod mills in semi legal mines, stolen and than smuggled out.

The FBI claimed the location was being used to store drug money I think, the Judge in the original case threw the whole thing out as the FBI couldnt show any evidence that any criminality was going on. The civil cases are still ongoing if memory serves, everything in vaults or storage lockers was sold, and no records were kept. What do you do with your PMs if you are getting old and don't have children?

I'm still young, and I started collecting pm coins a couple of years ago, so I'm not asking as advice for my situation right now
I just have been thinking on how difficult it is in my particular situation to have children right now, and that maybe I'll never able to pull it off.
I thought about a possible future timeline in which I have grown old - facing my last years, and had a nice collection of PMs, (including a family heirloom made of silver, gold, and ivory) and no one to leave them to. It didn't feel good bros.
What use would it be to buy the tray set family heirloom my mom and uncles are selling, if I end up without children like a retard?
The heirloom would just be lost, like tears in the rain. Maybe seized by the gov after I die, or taken by some random worker cleaning up my place when they realize I've died

the story behind it is so perfect too. This jug sat upright in a basement of a stall used as a bank, the bank became a bread shop, than abandoned, but the pot remained. The floor slowly filled with dirt, but the pot remained untouched. The building eventually caved in and was buried, but the little pot still waited. Finally, an archeologist happened to spot the lid of the this pot, revealing its wealth after so many centuries.

I ve found a few old boardwalks that got missed in a couple ghost towns that had coins, but nothing like the above pics. Treasure like that was usually recovered by its owners. This. Crypto nerds can’t understand the thrill of pinning the goblin. Night spent chasing an over feydusted Gringamel around the swamp-leaf forts. Her squealing and gibbering, pouring sweat and on the verge of leveling. Your companions build up an intoxicating, delerious state with Elvish chantings at the sidelines, hitting the Gringamel-toy with brooms if she tries to escape. The veteran stacker would be giggling and laughing as the waves of skooma pleasure seem to harmonize with the droning Elvish verses. He runs through the stacks of Mercury dimes, brilliant and uncirculated, with his gold Kugerrand a driving rod for the goblin. Sweat gushing down his face around his unfocused eyes he laughs and chortles until he gasps “Gold is a hedge against inflation!” The goblin screeches defensively but the goldbug is upon her in seconds. His penis thrusting blindly into her flank, leg, stomach and knife-ears unconcerned about anything but the motion. Eventually serendipity finds her mouth and the Cocktube Greenskin is placated, suckling contently on the stacker's gold plated dick.

When the fiat scam ends it will be the Bitcoin scam that takes it's place.

There is the possibility of it being suppressed indefinitely, however not every nation around the world is on the same page as the western banksters. The future market derivative manipulation will only work if COMEX has registered silver. When there's zero in the vault, the layers can come crashing down on it. It's going to be a really slow process and I wouldn't expect anything this year. Just keep stacking for a hedge against inflation or retirement savings.

Pretty much this. The govt, the fed, WEF, etc have demonstrated they intend to do everything in their power to force you to slave for and spend every dime and punish you for trying to save
PMs and other hard assets like land are the few safe places to store your earned wealth

For the anons who post thier PM stacks pics on /biz/, are you not worried that glowies/terrorists could potentially track you down when SHTF? Just seems like it puts a target on your back. Maybe there's something I'm missing?

thats why you personally datawipe your pictures before posting on 4chan and also making sure the pictures you are using is only unique to 4chan. If you use the same picture on social media or other chatting platforms like normie it can be easily backtraced by the pixels. All my pictures i ever posted was unique and to 4chan only. Also vpns while posting

I think .9999 of PM owners buy without proper opsec anyway. Getting tracked by forum post is rather unlikely when payment method is more direct link.

?? How?
Perhaps ignorance is bliss?
I do try and erase serial #s so I can sell without some vengeful autist from pmg who tracks posts that potentially offended him from doxxing me.

Aside from that, I don't stack per se, though I have a substantial collection from the interest in and amusement derived from photographing the items.

Thanks for the opsec tips fren. I have nord VPN, but 4chan doesn't let you post when it's on. Which one do you use? Also what program do you use to datewipe pictures? I vaguely remember another anon saying 4chan now wipes the data for you, but it's definitely good to be safe.

Same here. I don't want the bars, despite them being easier to hold/transport/big sells etc.
I like the chime silver coins can make in your pocket and those detailed imprints. Don't care if my stack becomes a meager pile of silver coins and a few fractional gold coins I'll be happy.

Yes. Bump limit just means new posts won't promote the thread to Page 1.
The thread may exist for hours or a day, depending on how many *new threads* in /biz/ get created to push this one down to Page 10 and out.
When doing a search through threads for prioe posts, this means we have more and more pages to have to look through.
We've been over this before.

>/biz/ is a pretty fast board
Generally true.
Another factor is redundancy - "Can anyone post the image/link/video/sauce of ..." when it's often in the prior thread. Keeping threads as long as possible keeps that down.
The bump limit as a trigger is a red herring. It speaks more to personal issue than any altruistic act.
But... I've wandered into whine territory. I've said my piece and will shut up.
