Idk. 14 hours maybe?
Once I went 13 days without a day off. I had 2 days off that entire month.

Did a 22hr shift in high school at a failing stake n shake. Manager was pissed caused nobody told him and I gave all my friends free food and we smoked in the walk in all night. Was worth it

14 hours maybe? I had zero days off that month.

30 hours or more. Honestly some days are a blur. I work in construction, not odd to do a 12 hour shift then drive 10-20 hours back to home at the end of a shift.

Actually it was in many ways, and others, you were on high alert the whole shift. One time being, someone wanted by police in 3 states, former patient, called the office and said he was coming down to the main facility with a gun to kill everyone. So on top of having to deal with the maniacs, i had to look out for homeboy (whom actually got caught in the neighboring state). I fucked a few of the outpatients and some of the counselors (not at the facilities mind you, except for one heat of the moment, one of the hottest/risky plays i ever made)

>> No.53608854

10 years ago i was a restaurant manager at a mall food court spot for a major fast food franchise. it was comfy af, the employees were outstanding, and the money was excellent. only had to work like 6 hours a day for the most part. i agreed to transfer to a shithole location for even more money and i wound up working 20 hour days for 2 months and wanted to off myself. never again.

Longest shift I’ve ever pulled was around 11 hours. It wasn’t too bad but the thought of spending your entire day waging and sleeping seems stupid to me unless you’re dead broke and really need the money.

>> No.53608932

>>53608864
Hahaha naw, these were by far pretty normal people (the outpatients) just needing their pills or needing therapy, the outpatient location had all sorts of services, they even hosted D&D tables, it was an interesting format. Admittedly, i would've gotten fired if caught associating with em but that didn't seem to matter for the counselor broads, they were all horny, probably because they had to listen to the wackos all day, they needed something to take their mind off the gig. I honestly think they all knew i was sleeping around because they'd all giggle with eachother and look my direction.

longest i've done was a 36 hour shift about 4 years ago, when I was a floolayer. A couple months ago I did a 27 hour shift too, worked for a boss that got paid on meterage so sometimes its just what we had to do to get the job over the line

I had to do an 80 hour week right after my vacation because none of my fuckhead coworkers did anything to try and fix our reporting system. I had to remake the entire product in that one week else we'd lose the contract. I only put up with it because I knew that'd be my resume's magnum opus and would make getting higher paying jobs in the future a breeze.

17 hours. a part of me didnt mind, it was on a film set as a covid tech. good catering, lots of free snacks and such. Good quality too all made on site- choices like crab legs, lamb, brisket, italian sausages and red peppers, etc. Plus salad buffet and a dessert buffet at each dinner break. Also they would give us breakfast, and free sandwiches throughout the day. Then a free hot snack at night, like homemade mac and cheese or chilli. It was a great set up. my ass got fat. The people were also mostly cool, and I just sat around most of the time reading Dune. Occasionally had to walk around and wipe some door handles- thats it. I also slept a lot. My supervisor was a nice old lady who would let me lol, this gig was ridiculous honestly. Film work is crazy.

Our company didn't get hired for that film set again though, so I quit.
