Bond-ETFs had a pretty nice correction and I want to be early for once. It's not as simple as feeding a model stock prices or news sentiment. There are open-source examples from QuantConnect of machine learning strategies like for example this which uses pythons keras library, https://github.com/QuantConnect/Lean/blob/master/Algorithm.Python/KerasNeuralNetworkAlgorithm.py.. But backtest it and you will see that it doesn't perform very well, not even outperforming SPY. There are more things to consider like position sizing or risk management. If all you have is a model to come up with trading signals that will not work.

that's fine. i already do that with day trading manually every trading day (while at my do-nothing tech job lol). honestly all you really need to use are 2 moving averages and a momentum indicator of your choosing (TTM_Squeeze is pretty classic especially since it also points out areas of low volatility). maybe keep track of pivot highs and pivot lows to figure out whether you're trending or ranging. after that it's just bull/bear flags and risk management.

idk why everyone doesn't simply do this.

im consistently making around $100 a day by daytrading TSLA for around 10-20 shares at a time.

The "skill" required to play poker is very overstated. I don't like card games because the payouts are usually 1 to 1. That's why black jack is so boring. In order to make money in blackjack you generally need to get large sums of money. It's definitely not random, never was, but if anything they are probably more honest now than they were in the past. Now it's all computerized.
