Dunno, but squatting while shitting was a /pol/ discovery 5 years ago. Your pelvic floor opens up so your colon turns into a straight line. If you shit on an Anglo seated John (built for a king so fat he couldn't squat without being unable to get up) your colon has an S bend which can cause bruising and chaffing.
Also, because you're a mammal male, you're designed to put out a marking scent, and that's Prostate fluid without sperm. And you release this prostate fluid when you shit while squatting (or that's the most simple way). You can release this while just squatting, but for your level of musculature development, start while shitting.

Also, don't do this on a porcelain John, your body weight on that small of an area can break the toilet like a coffee glass, and cut you open so that you bleed out in under 5 minutes.
Use a squatty potty, or put a pad of toilet paper down in your shower once you have an understanding of what you're aiming for.

Me, I tend to get the first large turd out of the way, and then finish the last bit in the shower when I don't have a squatty potty. This allows me to move less shit in the toilet paper, which is nice.

I already explained marking territory with prostate fluid, you can read up the chain to see this.
If men were taught that they can empty their prostates without having to orgasm, they'd be healthier bodily and mentally.
So I do.
I start with a dry floor, and put down paper for the turd. I have tried both having paper for the prostate fluid, and not having paper. I find that because of the urine involved in the cleaning of the urethra, not having paper normally works better. But it does mean more cleaning after. And you have to accept you're gonna end up peeing in the tub. Obviously you'll want to face the drain, so you don't soak the toilet paper holding your turds.
I shower every time I shit anyway, because why would I not? So cleaning the floor is pretty easy at that point.

well the FED cant keep a high rate environment running forever, so rates will come down eventually making bond-ETFs attractive again. Bond-ETFs had a pretty nice correction and I want to be early for once. That being said, I coud be wrong and we could have a high rates for years to come but I think our economy has been relying on cheap money too much and that it cant live without it. Think about it, we had 20 years where everything was built on cheap money when rates were near zero. such a system cant survive for a long time with how things are now so the FED will have to cut back eventually.

Dig a little deeper and you'll find that the medallion fund used kernel methods in their algo. I don't know the strategy they use but its success indicates that you can in fact use machine learning to generate alpha. But don't expect to capture outsized returns with a strategy like that because rentec used a shitload of leverage to make all that money, only do that if your model is very much cocksure of its predictions.

how hard is it to generate an automated trading bot with something like chatgpt? or something else that's free? i wouldn't mind trying it out with small share size trading tbhwy. like 10 shares of TSLA while day trading.

this just feels very much like early internet days. AI is in the "wild west" phase and mainstream culture knows fuck-all about it or how to control it yet. i don't want to miss out, there's gotta be some way to get rich off of this (like, at least enough to not have to work a day job anymore, im not greedy. like $2 million i could probably retire off of in my 30's with how minimalistically i live). i just need to figure out how. i need to figure out what resources are available to learn this shit, you know what i mean? what should i be reading or watching? specifically with regards to using AI for determining entries and exits on day trades?

It's not as simple as feeding a model stock prices or news sentiment. There are open-source examples from QuantConnect of machine learning strategies like for example this which uses pythons keras library, https://github.com/QuantConnect/Lean/blob/master/Algorithm.Python/KerasNeuralNetworkAlgorithm.py.. But backtest it and you will see that it doesn't perform very well, not even outperforming SPY. There are more things to consider like position sizing or risk management. If all you have is a model to come up with trading signals that will not work.

that's fine. i already do that with day trading manually every trading day (while at my do-nothing tech job lol). honestly all you really need to use are 2 moving averages and a momentum indicator of your choosing (TTM_Squeeze is pretty classic especially since it also points out areas of low volatility). maybe keep track of pivot highs and pivot lows to figure out whether you're trending or ranging. after that it's just bull/bear flags and risk management.

idk why everyone doesn't simply do this.

JEP funds don't sell covered calls on their holdings. They buy ETNs on spx or ndx and sell the option component (1mo expiry, out of the money ~10%) of the note to harvest the premium, then distribute to shareholders.

Jepq isn't shilled more because qqq is more likely (based on past 10 years) to outperform spy, thus the lost upside from selling the call option component of the ETN has higher opportunity cost for appreciating principal. You are right that it has higher yields due to higher volatility premium of the call component on ndx.

>>53680766
Jepq exists because there was enough client demand for jepi, so they made an ndx equivalent. Higher volatility on ndx also allows for higher option component premiums for the timeframe, meaning more income potential at the opportunity cost of higher principal gains and risk of higher principal losses.

>How do I cope with not being able to gamble on weekends?
If you are struggling to cope with not being able to gamble on weekends, there are a few strategies you can use. Firstly, try to find alternative activities to occupy your time, such as reading, exercising, listening to music, spending time with friends and family, or taking up a new hobby. Secondly, try to avoid places or activities that remind you of gambling, such as casinos, betting shops, and sports events. Thirdly, seek help and support if you need it. There are many organizations and services that can provide support, such as Gamblers Anonymous, counselling services, and support groups. Finally, remember that it is not easy to break a habit and it can take time, but if you stay focused and practice self-control, you can overcome the urge to gamble on weekends.

Etfs are generally lower risk than individual stocks. If you pick your own, then you are betting your pick will be better than the index. Higher risk = higher reward or higher loss. Side benefit is voting as a shareholder, which you relinquish to fund managers with an ETF.

If they spent the money buying ships, that'd improve their fundamentals and that'd trickle through into their stock price. If they spent it on buybacks, that'd trickle through into their stock price. In both those scenarios you can get back exactly as much money as you would from the dividend.

Or less, or more, depending on how much you sell. Dividends force you to take a tax hit of divvy*number of shares the moment it's paid out.

The lesson here is that a shitty company with a bad outlook and a wow-so-amazing dividend will trip up noobs and cause them to miss better companies with good outlooks and not-so-amazing dividend histories.

it'd be great if that were true, but what evidence is there for it? and the answer is that there is none. i've been through this discussion many times. i'd be happy to believe in any sort of mystical bullshit if there was evidence for it but there isn't. im just going based off of what is knowable.

if God exists and wants me to do some shit and not do some shit in order to be rewarded vs. punished, he can come down here and tell me directly. if not, i have no idea if im just being tricked or not so im not going to worry about it. you fell for the atheist -ism...
None of those -isms is supposed to work. All those -isms are pure ''thought experiments'' that atheist love to do in order to entertainment themselves.
It's daydreaming. Anarchism is a one of the hundred -isms made up by the bourgeois revolutionaries to saturate the political field in an attempt to make the plebeians stop thinking that kings were a thing. Atheists rewrite history this way.
With its moronic humanistically wishful-thinking non-aggression principle (NAP), Anarchism is literally the atheist fantasy of ''humanism of the bourgeois, without the legal republic of the bourgeois'' so it remains 100% controlled by bourgeois intellectuals. ie ''humanism is awesome''. And of course it can't be done in real life. It's literally a power fantasy for impotent beta cuck atheists. This is why it appeals to bugmen like tranny-lover Ted Kazincky and vaginally herd-follower Ayn Rand. Before atheists, anarchism never fucking existed and nobody ever though about this crappy religion (or ideology like atheists say, about their own religions).

getting old doesnt mean getting fat. wanna know my diet secret? its simple: never eat the same thing twice, at least with packaged foods or fastfood. (home cooking is never the same twice anyway, and im too cheap to eat at actual restaurants much).

faster than youd think, youve eaten every single snack food there is to have, and everything on the menu at every fast food place near you. this takes only about a year or two. and the funny thing is, long before that, you get bored of all american corporate food, because you realize its all just the same few flavors in different packaging.

also question, is your "fiber" beans? or is it green vegetables? beans, in my experience, ain't it. lots of sound but no action, if you get my drift.

im consistently making around $100 a day by daytrading TSLA for around 10-20 shares at a time.

i really fucking want to trade 100 shares at a time but when i tried i got emotional and would panic and get out of trades too quickly and fuck myself. i have no idea how to get around this problem. if i trade small i don't care about a loss here or there and so i can win trades left and right. as soon as i trade big each loss really fucking hurts me emotionally, i can't take it. i think i just need to learn how to code and automate shit at this point. until then i'll just keep making beer money as a side hustle i guess, im literally green every day but i can't handle trading big money relative to my paycheck.

This is also why I stick to betting around $30 at a time. With options though, if it goes up, I'll roll them out and up to 'let-it-ride'. That's how I made like $4k in the August bull run. I did alright in Jan/Feb too, but not quite as well

im sort of in the "then just don't simple as" route currently. it just feels bad. it's still a ton of fun to analyze intraday stock movements and make bets based on them, im passionate about it like my music. even if this was just a video game with no real money on the line i'd still love playing it. but i can't help but think "if i could just do the same exact trades i made with more shares, i could have made $1k instead of $100!" but i panic too easily when i can lose a day's or even week's pay in an hour. because i don't win every trade, i just win more than i lose.

currently looking into how to code python and do automation in think or swim, and how useful all this AI shit can be in this regard too. hopefully i can figure something out in the next year or so. my strategy is sound, i just need a way to be able to apply it unemotionally with perfect precision, which sounds exactly like what a computer is used for.

The "skill" required to play poker is very overstated. I don't like card games because the payouts are usually 1 to 1. That's why black jack is so boring. In order to make money in blackjack you generally need to get large sums of money. If you sit there throwing $5 or $10 a hand at blackjack you're generally going to just tread water all night until your luck runs out. I did play some 3 card poker last night though.
>>53681880
It's because you've never had a big win. Just last night I had a $100 win off of a $1 spin. That's what I like about slots, you can randomly just hit a massive jackpot at any time. However that is rare. They are called one armed bandits for a reason. I just like the displays and sounds. It's like a video game in that way.

some casinos actually have penny slots - if you stick to the minimum bet per spin (1 penny), you actually make an average return of like 1.1 pennies per spin because of non-bet-dependent bonuss. and if they have any free food or drinks or even just diet coke, youre winning pretty hard. you can actually make like $4 an hour doing this supposedly. i assume they throw out hobos, idk. not sure if these still exist though, inflation and all.

my uncle actually hit the maximum jackpot, 77 or whatever, on one of these, and it paid out $1000, which would have been $100k on even just a dollar-spin machine - and funnily i wonder if that's why these exist, to give people the thrill of a jackpot so they want to play higher-payout machines. and hey, if you rigged the penny slots to pay out *more* than the stated odds, would that even be illegal?

>> No.53682068

It's definitely not random, never was, but if anything they are probably more honest now than they were in the past. Now it's all computerized. The machines are to an extent random at least statistically, but long term they are programmed to always make money, so the jackpots are kind of irrelevant in the eyes of the casino.

Penny slots are the most degenerate of all slots. People think they are there for the cheap people who want to have a little fun. Dead wrong. Penny slots have a max bet usually in the range of like $20-80. They have like 40 lines to bet on. If you see somebody sitting at a penny slots machine, they are usually the most degenerate of gamblers.
