I am in my early 30s. I am pretty much broke, living paycheck to paycheck. I work from home in the online media industry. This sounds fancy, but most digital outlets are basically just content mills and nothing more. We are all severely underpaid and it blows. I don't hate my job, but I'm broke, so I'm considering a career change. I am too low IQ to learn coding, and too high inhib to trade crypto and stocks. What can I do? I am considering SEO, because I already sort of do that in a way, and understand the process. Is that a good idea? Do you have any other ideas, anons? What's a well paying profession that I could actually learn and do from home? Thanks in advance.

From what I know, SEO is very saturated and competitive. And also full of scammers from India and such. Perhaps someone could correct me if I'm wrong. Have you considered affiliate marketing?

Try going to beyond page 50+ on any keyword
there are no results, or the results dont appear

i just typed in "doctor who" and only got 12 pages of results
no way are there are only 12 pages of site mentioning doctor who

SEO will probably be the first job to be obsoleted by AI, followed soon after by digital marketing in general.
There’s really no new online frontier anymore that hasn’t been fiverred to death by pajeets or exploited by professional course merchants. I’d honestly look into HVAC or some other physical trade, and see how much you can make as a trainee in your area. It might be embarrassing being an apprentice in his early 30’s, but there will only be more demand for those jobs going forward compounded by the tenured boomers aging out or retiring.
Trying to be an “online entrepreneur” is basically dead now unless you like trading your time for literal peanuts.
