>anyone can be a millionaire
>just live like a poor person for 60 years
>and put every penny into a retirement account
>and you'll be rich for the last, shittiest years of your life

at first I like the idea of Roth IRAs but quickly became even more disillusioned once I realized I'd never get to enjoy being rich, I'd only be able to give my kids a small advantage. and it's literally my only option aside from getting super lucky with shitcoins or something (same odds as winning the lottery)

Buying shitcoins pays off more than Roth IRA bullshit. Just buy during bear markets.

this. I literally almost retired off of dog with a bat from a 1.5k investment. Did I cash out anything? No, I got greedy and fucked up (leaving my shit alone though because liquidity pool is bullish as fuck), but point is opportunities are there. I pity boomers that stick to normie shit gain markets.

Any precedent for country trajectory with declining iq/life expectancy?

>> No.53810476

Actually this is a good thing because Americans are living so much longer on average that it is drawing in sick people from the around the world to try to live longer, but they are dying in the U.S. and dragging the average down. The reason the average life expectancy is dropping in the U.S. is actually because things are going so great. The more it drops, the more it's an indicator of the quality of care that is so attractive that people are literally dying trying to get it.

since the only actual concrete engines for economic growth are population growth, a revolution in the means of production, or an increase in labor productivity (which can be achieved by a revolution in the means of production, technological innovation or just investment), the precedent is other stagnating high income countries, like Japan.

once you are a millionaire at the age of 60 you will soon come to the realisation that you would happily trade most of that wealth to go back to your younger days. Money can buy most things but not time.

My Mom worked until 5 months before she died of cancer. Had battled cancer for 4 years at that point. I wish she retired when she got cancer, but treatments are expensive and my Dad's a cunt faggot.

barely made it to her mid-60s. I find it hard to be motivated to work anymore.
