it's a matter of time (less than 3 months) until arbitrum staking, delegating, indexing. imagine being bearish on grt now. People in this thread have no fucking clue what is going on. More than half of arbitrum projects wouldn't exist without grt. get a fucking clue or go back to your r/goongaves fagdoms boys.

GRT IS KEK'S CHOSEN COIN, THE 9 TRIPS CONFIRMED IT.

GRT TO 9.99.

For some reason I thought GRT was 10 billion max supply but it's actually uncapped.

Hello lads. I just had an idea for one of those 'dApp' thingys, and I was wondering if the 'graph' would be useful or necessary to accomplish it.

The idea is simple. It's a service that sends you a text message when an event you've specified happens on-chain. For example, tokens received by a particular address, large transaction leaves a DeFi protocol suggesting it's been hacked, number of tokens in an AMM pool falls below a certain level, and so on.

Obviously you *could* code something like that yourself and leave it running in the cloud, but a cheap service that does it for you might have a market, and you wouldn't have to keep checking it to know it's on.

The service itself just needs a frontend to provably-anonymously collect phone numbers, event details and payments, and its own phone.

Anyway, as I understand it, the graph gives you a robust API for blockchain data and is cheap enough that you can ping it regularly for pennies.

So, what do you reckon? Would it work, and if it did would the graph be useful? Would people pay a couple of GRT to set-and-forget? Is anything like this available already?

I say go for it. Unfortunately The Graph can't handle private data last I checked, maybe that changes in the future. ROSE seems like it's leading in data privacy / access control insofar as EVM capable smart-contracts go, so a bridge or service is probably need on one or the other end to rectify that problem.

>The Graph can't handle private data
The most you'd know from logging API calls is that *someone* is looking for *something*. You wouldn't know *who* or *what*.

You can use a subgraph to retrieve the data of a specific smart contract, but you can't monitor the whole blockchain. It's a big shortcoming of subgraphs that hopefully gets addressed in the future.
PRQ is more aligned with what you need, as you can specify smart triggers without being bound to a specific smart contract and send Telegram notifications when the conditions are met, but AFAIK there is still no way to obtain and use phone numbers anonymously so you're still at a dead end.

>> No.54152091

>>54151901
Ah, okay. It's been done and a telegram message is mostly as good as a text message anyway. t.

ROSE is a good pick for privacy coin but I still think RAIL in underrated.
