They’re the main bank for burger soldiers, and if it tanks; all bets are off for the safety of elected US officials.

Banks are going to suffer, reducing net profits. Reducing net expenses.

I was wondering when that would happen. The white collar genocide is going to have a pretty severe trickle down effect on blue collar jerseys.

Guess I better lower my prices and do better work...

this is your brain on shitcoinomics
when a shitcoin goes down, nobody loses their jobs and whole companies don't go under. the price of a shitcoin doesn't determine whether your local economy can grow for the next five years.

Isn't this bullish for inflation? The more banks fail, the less credits are given out.

>> No.54281879

all the banks have interwoven liabilities, if they start failing they can't pay debts to the banks they owe, who then can't pay their debts, etc, plus all the deposits in those failed banks get wiped out, which makes people panic and pull money out, but the banks can't service mass withdrawals. this only stops if the fed gives them money (it's already given them hundreds of billions over the past couple weeks). and if they don't stop it, it doesn't matter if you were lucky enough to get your dollars out, the mass implosion of central banks would destroy all confidence in the eurodollar, so it would be worthless anyway

>> No.54283963

Apart from what the others have said, big banks like buying out these failed banks because they assume none of the risk and get to buy other people’s debt (mortgages, loans, etc) for much less than they’re worth, while appearing like the gold guys. That said, apparently Bear Stearns etc were such shit last time that even then it wasn’t worth it, so maybe they’ll act differently this time.
