I quit because of vax mandates and because I could and was tired of my old job anyway but I've been looking for something new for months now and there is just nothing.
There are jobs demanding degree level qualifications and years of experience offering £12/hr. It's not even funny. Countless jobs will have a laundry list of requirements and then offer £22k a year. It isn't even economical to work when you factor in taxes, travel etc against just sitting on welfare.

Americans can make $20/hr working in a warehouse practically anywhere in the country if Indeed is to be believed, and I don't see why it isn't.

I need to leave this hellhole.
