The only peer-reviewed cryptocurrency.
Already has loads of practical applications being used by countries across the world (like voter ID).

In development since 2015, lots of empty promises, lots of talking through live sessions with very little actually being said.

Billions of dollars spent (coins dumped by IOHK over 2 bullruns) with very little or nothing to show for it.

Built on a language that absolutely no one understands or uses.

Because its built on Haskel, no one can really understand the current progress of Cardano.

So 99.99999% of all investors are completely in the dark about what is actually the progress of the project no matter how many papers they read or live sessions they listen to.

They use tactics that many cults or scams use to persuade people, such as making all their updates sound very intelligent (Goguen, Basho, and Voltaire). All their youtube videos have a person that looks like a steve-jobs like character where its easy to trust because they look sharp and wise.

Every time they release an update, right before they update everybody thinks that it will solve all the issues and lead to DAPPS people use, but then they say they need this "other" update, which takes another 6 months of "research" and then the scam continues on. This has been going on for 8 years!!!!

8 Years of Development, Billions of Dollars dumped, No Product of any use case besides staking (core of any ponzi scheme), Very abstract language used when asked about the state of development. Uses alot of traits that are identical to scams or cults.
