"Hello Man A, I heard you were running against Man B. I like your policies, but I also like his. If you give me payment for political campaigning, I can advertise that I support you through my business." (I own a local small business that sells tacos) "If you refuse, or Man B's offer is better, I will campaign against you. If this letter leaks to the press or becomes public knowledge or Man B learns about this, the deal is completely off."
