Thinking of investing in GRT but have some questions
Can I stake GRT on Exodus, or pick up any rewards via that wallet?
Is 8.9 billion the max supply?
Who actually uses The Graph?
And what's a realistic price in 2025?

No idea if you can stake on Exodus.

Currently the max supply 10.64 billion (https://thegraph.com/explorer/network?chain=mainnet)), however GRT currently has about 3% inflation so the max supply is continuing to go up. This may change in the future when The Graph completely moves to the mainnet.

Almost everyone uses the Graph. Check the pic. Also almost every dapp you use, like uniswap, snx, gmx, aave, curve etc. Check out this website: https://cryptofees.info/ and click on each project, you'll see most of them use The Graph Protocol.

Price predictions are very hard to make, but I'll be conservative and say $1 by 2025, though I'm hoping for $3-5.

I don't know what that is. Historically though, you're not going to get better staking rewards with GRT anywhere other than its native protocol. Learn to delegate.

>Is 8.9 billion the max supply?
There is no hard cap. What you basically have is 10B initial supply vesting, plus inflationary issuance to subsidize the protocol in its bootstrapping phase. That inflation rate was 3% from 2020 to 2021, 2.95% from 2021 to 2022, and a fixed 300M since 2022. The long-term goal is to either have this issuance amount automatically adjusted based on RL witchcraft, or to eliminate it altogether.

>Who actually uses The Graph?
Most every major DeFi protocol from the last cycle, with the notable exception of Aave, though their subsidiary Lens seems to like and endorse it.

>And what's a realistic price in 2025?
Don't know, don't care. If you're in it long term, it's for the fees.

You need a good amount of GRT for it to be worth it. It's better when you buy it for ~.05-10 and let it rot for a few years on good indexers.

What about the 50B?

If Parsiq served data with wrongthink the British government would shut it down. That centralization risk, its utter lack of focus, and the fact that it doesn't share its revenue with baggies is why the token will fail in the long term.

So basically what we have here is raw data provided from a centralized source, and its processing offloaded to clients via data lakes. And for some reason customers have to pay Parsiq and stake PRQ for both.

Do you see the problem here?
